23.2 Fines and Suspensions - A player incurring a game misconduct penalty shall incur an automatic fine of two hundred dollars ($200) and the case shall be reported to the Commissioner who shall have full power to impose such further penalties by way of suspension or fine on the penalized player, goalkeeper or any other player involved in the altercation.
I believe that in the case of stick infractions (which Boarding is included in for some reason), there's only an automatic review if there is an automatic suspension. The automatic suspension only applies to players who have received two or more stick infraction game misconducts.

It sounds like from the rule language that the commissioner has the option of reviewing the play and assessing additional discipline, but it's only an option, not a requirement.

As a Jets fan, I have no problem if Bogo gets a suspension over this hit. Cheap shots are certainly not his usual MO, but these types of hits have to stop.

I know many of my fellow fans are "blaming the victim", but I think you need to take your home goggles off when you are looking at these dangerous boarding hits. If Bogo never meant to cause injury, sitting for a couple of games will help him to remember to be more careful the next time.

Great game guys, hope that late hit is nothing serious

I hope a solid rivalry starts between the Jets & Wild, always loved the North Stars and I love coming down to the twin cities in the summer.

Wild was one of my fav teams during the Jets' absence.

Hope you enjoyed what our crowd is like

Forget this game and move on. All I care about is that Bouchard doesn't have another concussion.

Other than the health of PMB which is our main concern. The main problem we have is the inconsistency of suspensions and Shannahan. If PMB gets two games and the repeat offfender lable for getting his stick lifted, then ruling around the same range should be in order for Bogosian. imo Good game tonight.

No rivalry. Not yet. But both teams may be the proud parents to a little ball of hate that was born tonight.

Well, Versus took Peggy's side on the Bogo hit.

Thats it for tonight for me. I think I might be tired enough to actually get some sleep at a decent hour.

You guys (and girls) are all lucky.. I can't sleep. I'm too worried. :\

I know we will get the injury report tomorrow but there's a lot of "What if" questions right now.

I couldn't care less if Bogosian is suspended or not. If Pierre-Marc has a serious injury (Hopefully not), he wouldn't come back faster whether Bogosian is suspended or not. Whatever.

It'd be an awesome news (to me) if he only has a broken nose and nothing more. Let's just hope Pierre-Marc is OK and is able to play tomorrow's game with a full helmet cage/visor.

Sorry to be too dramatic but that's all I got right now.

Well that was a "fun" game. It was highly entertaining but unfortunately we came out at the wrong end. Can't win them all though, lets ensure we bounce back in a big way tomorrow night.

One positive from tonight: I survived wearing my Wild jersey to the game and didn't get harassed.... or stabbed!

On another positive note, it's great to see Guillaume already made an impact with the team.

I wish Bogosian's suspended for AT LEAST as many games as Bouchard's injured. That being said, I hope Bouchard's not seriously injured, but I'm afraid that he has at least broken nose & missing teeth, and he's probably concussed, too.

Hoping for best. But unlike Felix, I care about Bogosian's suspension, too. Hit from behind? Check. To the boards? Check. Towards a player half the size with an unfortunate injury history? Check. Grow a pair, Bog.
