Something tells me Anne Hathaway is going to steal the movie. Such a perfect choice for Catwoman. Her voice in that trailer was really close to the one in TAS.
Agreed. The football scene looks absurd. Although I expect the Selina Kyle character to be interesting.
Watching fanboys come to the rescue of any and every critical post is sadly enjoyable.
It looked like a kind of second-rate special effect left over from Inception, but like others are saying, I'm reserving my judgement. Cleaned up and put into context it could be impressive.

Anyone else feel like her lines almost sounded like the Occupy Wall Street/99% rhetoric?
When talking to Bruce she says that him and his friends have lived so big for so long while everyone else was living without, but it is all going to come to an end.
Sounds like should could be anti-Millionaire Bruce Wayne, but still be pro-Batman.
The article doesn't make it clear if the problem was in the trailer or the prologue though. I had troubles hearing Bane in the prologue, but the trailer was just fine.
If Nolan can make Hines Ward look fast, then I have no doubt he can touch up the rest of that football scene.
On a team with Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown they went with Hines Ward as the kick returner? Weird.
What the hell is a proloque anyway?

So a legit news source picked up on the same political under tones that I did? Sweet.
Although I do have a hard time labeling any news source "legit" that quotes message board posters in their article. That would be like an article on cnn about a hockey suspension and them quoting some of the posts from the thread on here. I can see it now, "One poster claimed, 'He should have post 95ed him.'"
I hope Christopher Nolan isn't the dbag that kills off Batman just cos he's in a powerful position to....hope there's more Batman movies in the future (which continue off from after Batgirl/Robin in the 4th one from the 90s).
Since I was a kid, I've always known Bane to be the cold, calculating genius with unnatural strength. I'm glad Nolan made him realistic in terms of body strength, and the ability to interact. Like many Batman fans, I was disgusted and left a sour taste in my mouth when Bane was perceived as a dumb-dumb musclehead with 0 intellect in "Batman & Robin."
The lack of Batman in the trailer in interesting...poses a lot of questions such as, does it suggest that Bruce Wayne is conflicted between two (maybe more) ideologies? (after all, we see Wayne with Selina dressed in a high-class manner, with Bane as a "barbarian" for a lack of a better term).
I hope this series ends with a bang in the final film. Christopher Nolan deserves credit for reviving the franchise and giving it dark undertones (those dark undertones was why I loved Batman TAS).
