Can we get the names of the New York teams put in the respective GDT titles?

Seems Nabokov is a possibility for the Isles tonight..

Quote:
G Evgeni Nabokov will have his groin injury evaluated Thursday and there's a chance he'll start Thursday night after missing a month. Nabokov said he wasn't sure if he felt good enough to play, but Jack Capuano said that he thought Al Montoya might be a bit tired

Fistric, Pardy, and Peterson scratched.

Very winnable game. 2 points!

I'm also disappointed, for obvious reason. I would have liked to see Fistric in the lineup and see if or how the Isles would have gotten back at him for his hit on Nino.

But I'm sure the management is thinking only about getting the win, and it's the right move. Who would you take out? Robi? We already know management won't do that.

I think it's the right choice.

Only thing I can think of is having him rested for tomorrow's game in Jersey.

Good choice on the scratches. Fistric and Pardy are at the bottom of the depth chart. Larsen is better than both of them.

It does make me a little sad Fistric won't be in but we need the chance to win this one.

I think you nailed it. I don't think I actually agree that Fistric being a target could deter the Stars from the goal at hand ... picking up another 2 points. I just don't think it's unreasonable to be concerned.

Plus, we're pretty much splitting hairs over the 7th D/12th forward. Dowell would have been coming out. No matter how much people want him off the team, I think everyone would be beyond shocked to see Robidas eat a healthy scratch. I still think a trade of Robidas will be difficult, but at least that is realistic. I mean ... I'd be floored to see Robi watching a game from the pressbox and healthy.
