If I remember correctly about Skinner he never ruled out a concussion as they weren't sure until they got back in town and he saw the doctors. He didn't say it was a concussion but also didn't say it wasn't.

^Yeah but that quote was all full of fail as Skinner NEVER returned to Raleigh for evaluation, he went home to mommy/daddy. He returned to Raleigh with the team.

I think Chip may have been a bit loopy.

Obviously Chip was doing some investigating and got a little too close to the truth for Brother Eric's liking...

We're sorry, Tim Tebow is busy with the Patriots this weekend. Please try your prayer again later.

He'll be back in the line up just in time to go up against those low down, big, mean, dirty Bruins.

EDIT: on a serious note, I sure hope he is indeed ready and they don't rush him at all. I'm all for him playing if he is ready, but better to be safe on this one. Also, the Bruins game should be interesting based on our last game with them. I wonder if Gleason will get in a fight early on, or if the team takes the same approach as last time.

How do I feel about Jeff returning to the lineup? I just think it'd be a shame if he got hurt, say, on a dirty play by Milan Lucic or Zdeno Chara so soon after he gets back from injury. I mean I've talked with Looch and Big Z and those guys would be after someone as vulnerable as Jeff like a pit bull on a beefsteak. Not that I suggested anything to them. Right guys?

@ice_chip Chip Alexander

Muller wants Skinner in a few more practices. Says weekend return possible.
The coach gives hope...

Quote:
@ice_chip Chip Alexander

Skinner says he has not felt 100 percent after some recent practices. Said after tough workout he "does not feel good rest of the day."
And Skinner takes it away...

If he's not feeling 100 percent after practices, he should still be sitting out.

Any talk of him returning is nonsense. I hope Skinner has the guts and brains to say "No, I don't feel 100% yet" to everyone involved. There's nothing to gain by coming back "early". Crosby's situation should be a real eye opener to ANY guy who cares about his long term health. And seeing the work and effort Skinner puts in to be the player he is, I don't think he takes his health lightly.

MEMO TO KARMANOS/RUTHERFORD: For heaven's sake, let the kid get better! There's everything to be gained, and nothing, NOTHING, to lose by letting his brain rest, as it needs to right now!!!!!! We're talking about the rest of Skinner's career, and his life, here!!!

Remember, for every Crosby whose brains are scrambled better than Bojangles Delicious Egg Biscuits, there is a Giroux, who comes back and swiftly contributes at the level he had before.
