The twins need to invest in a higher quality bunk bed.

Teams are allowed to. But it rarely happens. Goalies are competitive. Imagine if the coach puts in the back up (who is better on shootouts) and he gets LIT up or gets injured cause he came in cold? I don't think it's really worth it most of the time (unless your back up is all world in shootouts). But Luongo isn't TERRIBLE in shootouts like LOLbarbera was

Islanders did that recently with DiPietro I believe. Well some team did for sure, can't remember which one to be exact.

Wow, would have been nice if we kept Sweatt up, or called up someone other than Mancari...

Daniel out with back spasms?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

We're so spoiled having two star forwards that are so durable that it's almost like the sky is falling when one of them is injured. I can't imagine what it's like to be a Penguins fan, or a Flyers fan now.

Iain MacIntyre reports:
Daniel Sedin will not dress for tonight's game, as he will rest a sore back. Mark Mancari, who was called up on an emergency basis today from the AHL's Chicago Wolves, will play instead.
http://www.vancouversun.com/sports/G...#ixzz1geCf8EU4

Daniel has ongoing back issues from 2001 following his disc operation.
http://www.cbc.ca/sports/story/2001/...din010515.html

He has special warm-up and stretching regimes.

Still bad but Lappy is at least a good 3rd liner over Weise.

Kinda makes his Art Ross seem a little more impressive don't you? Unbelieveable that Perry's "hot" stretch won him the Hart.

According to Botchford Daniel has been bothered by a sore back on the road trip.

Mancari goes to the third line with with Cody Hodgson and Jannik Hansen.

Mason Raymond moves to the top line with Burrows and Henrik.

Aaron Rome plays wing on the fourth line.

I doubt it happens, but with Daniel out, I'd like to see Hodgson get some 1st unit powerplay duty.

Not enough hockey talk. Too much inane chatter lately. The budgie refuses to participate.

Really excited to see the Canucks play. I've only seen them on tv one other time this year. I've had to listen to the games on the internet

Sounds like the second line will be Hansen, Kesler and Higgins contrary to Botch's report.

Third line Hodgson centring Mancari and Weise and the fourth line with Rome carrying Malhotra and Lapierre.

I wish AV would just try Hodgson on the top line with Hank and that way the lines would be more balanced.

Burrows - Sedin - Hodgson
Higgins - Kesler - Raymond
Mancari - Lapierre - Hansen
Rome - Malhotra - Weise

Or you could reward Hansen with that 2nd line RW spot and have a 3rd line of Raymond - Lapierre - Mancari. It just makes so much more sense.
