I'm pretty sure that is correct if we're below 18 skaters on the active roster if Staios is put on IR. It might be possible that Nino isn't on the IR now that I think about it? That might actually be the problem if they wanted to bring up Wishart on Emergency Recall.

It's hard to imagine that our defense is going to be even smaller for the next little while. Let's hope we at least get some transitional offense out of it.

Why don't we just purchase ben Olson's contract? He is a pretty tough guy from what I've heard.

CdH or the Ness? I am interested in seeing either of course to distract me from the normal pile of crap the Isles call a blue line. Neither is very physical so we got weaker. I am sure the next team we play won't notice and beat them all like pimped out ho's caught holding out.

If ness is ahead of de haan on the depth chart then that is seriously pathetic. It's not a knock on ness at all. It's the fact that we moved up from 26th to 15, then to 12 to draft him when we could've gotten kulikov. Or picked a big winger in kassian who has skill and would keep tavares safe. And seeing young blueliners like kulikov, and leddy who were picked after de haan already making an impact on their teams puts doubt in my mind about de haan, and cause for concern. Is the kid not what he is made out to be, is he regressing. I know injuries have played a bit of a factor, but snow and the gang talk about this kid like he is gonna be a offensive juggernaut on the blueline. If you want to talk about a young blueliner who is gonna be an offensive juggernaut then check out ryan ellis who was drafted by nashville 1 spot before de haan. Ellis had 101 points in his final year in juniors. de haan didn't even have half of that many points and played in 3 less games then ellis.
