Chris Lee needs a new career. Hot dog vendor, perhaps.

He'll just throw hot dogs to people even if they don't buy them though.

How did this moron on the NHL network not know Pronger could go on LTIR. He's already on LTIR.

Seriously?

Love playing your team. The Flyers are a blast to watch and it's been a fun, tough and clean game. Also some weird calls both ways.

Very, very sorry to hear about Chris.

JVR, Shelley and Marshall are players of the game in this one.
Lavvi is rolling with 5 d-men. Marshall with 3 in a half min of ice time.

Guys I hate when people cry about officiating... It's been noticeably bad tough, against the flyers, but at the same time they took away a legit Canadians goal. Sometimes ya win, sometimes you lose,

Voracek is more of a passer, JvR will never rack up too many assists. Voracek dangles a lot more as well. They are both fairly big guys and really smoth skaters and look kind of alike when they were hockey equipment though.

Saw that you got this answered, but I thought I could add that he'll have to pass through waivers on the way down (I think... or, there is some rule about the number of days a guy can be on the roster before he's sent back down... these things are too complicated for me)

No ****ing way. I wouldn't want Gonchar even if our pp sucked. His best days are far behind him, and he's signed for a few more years as well.

Meh. The refs haven't been that good, but it's been brutal in both directions. I'm sure we'd be fairly livid if Cole's goal in the first period had counted, but Zolnierczyk's in the second had been disallowed. Both were pretty much 50/50 calls. Way too many penalties for my taste though. Again, for both teams.

Nice goal for Zolnierczyk, must have driven the Habs fans crazy that it counted though. Good to get some production from the fourth line.

Carle and Meszaros might have been able to do more on the first Habs goal, but Desharnais protected the puck really well, and Cole and Pacioretty did their job in front of the net. Not much to do for Bobrovsky. Neither could he on the second one. Lucky bounce, but Leblanc should not be left alone like that. Bourdon and someone else, can't remember who right now, went for the same guy and left Leblanc all by himself.

If we're not getting Giroux or Schenn back before the next game, I think I would like to see Holmstrom called up. At least if we're not gonna use Shelley, also I'm not so sure I want Voracek on the pk and Holmstrom could fill in there.

Simmonds has goals in four straight games now, Hartnell better score so he's not caught up.

We can win this game if we cut the dang penalties and roll our shifts for awhile without having to stop and kill a penalty or penalties....Its one of those games that remind me of about a month ago when we did this stuff.....The Refs ain't helping matters either, although they have been BAD both ways for the most part.....The missed call on the trip on JAGR was REALLY bad.....

Just think how much better this score would look without giving up 7 penalties before the 3rd period! Penalties once again, are killing us.

WTF was Carle doing at the end of the 2nd??? He could have reached out and grabbed that puck, but instead knocks it into the netting. Terrible...and I'm not even a Carle hater like a lot of others here. I was just beginning to forgive him for that turnover in our zone that led to the Hab's first goal too

Vorachek (sp?) is impressive with some of his plays, it'll be nice when he starts connecting.
