I loved Hagelin saying, "Thanks for dinner losers." A classic Mighty Ducks quote. Im sure the older guys didn't even get it.

Very entertaining stuff. Nice to see that the team is really close off the ice as well.

Bryzgalov is hilarious. Artie was cracking me up when he was yelling at the ref, and you could tell Dubi scared the ref a bit when he was yelling about Lecavalier not getting a penalty.

Really interesting to finally hear some of the stuff Torts has been yelling about behind the bench.

I find it hilarious that HBO started filming right after our 5 game winning streak, barely had any footage of our commanding win against Philly, and is entirely skipping our 6-1 win against Florida.

Oh well, the show was incredible.

I believe HBO was there for the Ranger/Flyer game. They just chose not to show it.

Big mistake. Excellent opportunity for story building. Of course, Philly could've asked that game not be used.

The episode is on YouTube for anyone who hasn't seen it/doesn't have HBO.

Not sure if it's against the rules to post it so if you need it, PM me..HBO will probably take a down at some point.

They did show it. It's the first game action they used. And the Flyers/Rangers aren't going to be asking to not show their losses, especially when it involved the other team they are following around.

Prust is the man. Such a likable guy and a great teammate. He seems to be best buds with everyone.

It's early yet, but episode one made me gain a little more respect for Tortorella. I like how he's adjusting and he really does want only thr best for his players. I was cracking up at his comments to Boyle. "you get that mic on and you can't ****ong think straight!"

Yeah, the players respect Torts. I can say from experience that I LOVED playing for my coach who was exactly like him. Will he be best friends with you? No. But you will always know where you stand with him.

Loved the Avery smirk when he came in the locker room. Hilarious.

PROOOOST. Glad to see Hagelin meshing with the group there at dinner as well.

I would have loved to see Mitchell's interview after the game he took the puck to the face. That to me, is the quintessential hockey quote.

1 hour is no where near enough.

Yeah... They didn't show the Flyers slamming their sticks as they got off the ice, or the NYR fan salute... Too bad they never mentioned how the Flyers and NYR were right next to each other in the standings. HBO has no clue.

Come on! Take off the homer goggles. The show was awesome! Well balanced, insightful and most importantly fun to watch.

They didn't skip the Florida game. They showed us playing Toronto, Tampa, and Buffalo. Maybe they didn't show the Florida game because maybe, just maybe, they're going to show it next week

They sort of did. They said that Philly was fighting a handful of teams for the top spot in the conference, among them the New York Rangers.

But yeah, they failed to convey that the Rangers had a better record than the Flyers when the show kicked off.

E: I have retroactively realized the quoted paragraph might have been sarcasm...

I'm willing to give the benefit f the doubt but if the next eppy opens with Dallas and not Florida I won't be a happy camper.

Go back and watch the last two minutes or so. They showed it at the montage towards the end. You see Richards getting stitched up. You can see the Panther's socks during a game. They "showed" it. I'm sure the narration will mention it next episode (especially after the stark contrast between scoring 6 in one game and then 0 in the next), but dont expect full highlights

If you don't watch either team closely you'd think that the Rangers were struggling. No big deal though. I'll leave the storytelling to HBO, they've earned the benefit of the doubt.

It's all part of of television/radio any kind of media.

Controversy is much more intriguing.

Showing the Rangers winning every game probably wouldn't have been seen as interesting.
For HBO that is.

What do you expect? You can't blame HBO for the Rangers losing to Toronto and TB.

The Bryz Universe & Tiger Bits were hilarious...

The Anisimov Machine gun bit... priceless, the look avery gave him...

The Credit Card card scene another beauty...

Del Zotto going into the training room for a rub down, not to sure who said this: "Why they hell are they following you around for." was funny as *****...

Loved it, excited for episode 2, Cally's Grammy is hot

Not to me.

I also admit that I would love to see a trade done during this. Just to see what the locker room is like for the new guy, etc.

Maybe they can just trade Christensen.
