You know what I loved about Peter Laviolette on HBO 24/7? This quote:

"We are not a conservative team, we are a let's ****ing giddy up and go type of team. Play ****ing hard. Play for each other, support each other. Come back to the bench ****ing dripping tired with ****ing sweat and exhaustion. Put your foot on the ****ing gas."

Jeez.

Good replay on TSN. That goal was 80% on Kostitsyn. He was just floating in the middle and not really covering anyone.

If you pay attention and watch the Habs defensemen. They let let the puck carriers just skate around our zone poking at the puck. They don't hammer guys into the boards. I wonder if we are a little to small on D and they can't handle the aggressiveness.

I love this goalie. I wish I loved other players on the team this much, I just haven't been given much reason to this season.

No need to wonder...Habs D is much too soft.

Too bad. We were playing a good possession game up until the goal. Pleks really should have burried that break.

If Pleks wasn't so offensively challenged it would be 1-1 !

The offense wants a free ride and the defense has no intention of playing the body. A whole team unwilling to pay the price and Price is left holding the bag trying to drag this team through every game.

Some bad coverage, but overall they have played well. We have had some chances too.

I know people like to rag on the fact that he hasn't been on the scoresheet much, but watching Eller is a treat. He is so much better at almost every facet of the game than he was at the beginning of last year. If his learning curve continues at even half this pace for the next couple of years, he'll be an amazing player.

The only chance of ours that I saw was the breakaway...

It would really help if Darche had any skill at all.

Pleks would have scored. Things might have been different, but we always seem to waste our chances away. Then things turn for the worse.

Well... that's just the opposite of Martin's speech I guess.
