Take a look at the statistics. Just saying.
As much as I bash him, Lundqvist>>>>>Elliot. The Blues do it with defense more than goaltending, the Rangers are the opposite of that. The Rangers made a mediocre St. Louis offense look like the Flyers.

This is disgusting

We're plainly being outclassed. St. Louis is playing harder, faster, and straight out better.

We have ZERO physicality right now, and getting beat up. We haven't had a single scoring chance.

This makes we want to throw up.

Nor do they carry near useless bums like EC for the hope they may end up in a shoot out....

Are you saying the team didn't look better with Avery in the lineup?

I think it's pretty obvious we did..

If this team actually relies on Avery's energy, I hate to see how they look next year when he's not here.

Such ****** weak chances, even when they have offensive zone pressure, they do nothing with it. Blues are giving them nothing.

Get Dubinsky the hell off of the Prust and EC line. Reunite the Feds-Boyle-Prust checking line, put Dubi with Hagelin and Mitchell, and try EC with Richards and Callahan. Can't hurt at this point.

And this is why I am a supporter of Alex Steen. What a player.

Better come out looking better next period. With the way they were playing, they're lucky it's only 2-0.

Hopefully we can get a goal early in the second period. If so, we will be back in it.

That was not even close to being on side. The officiating has been horrendous so far. What else is new? Need more quick passes and skating. Too much waiting and hesitating with and without the puck.

This Avery crap is ridiculous. The guy had 3 goals in limited time I'll give him that, but I didn't see all this energy he produced he was nothing like what he was when he just got here.

Getting the first goal is something this team needed to do against these trap teams (Dallas, St. Louis, Phoenix), falling behind only let's them fall right into their sytem.

This man has the right idea.

Jesus. The morale of this board is about as fragile as Crosby's brain.
No balls to be found here.

Zzzz... Zzzz.... Oh wait, this is a hockey game? Sorry, I fell asleep during the Blues sleep inducing style of play.

It's another game against a Western Conference team where we won't be able to generate scoring chances because of their defensive structure. And Western Conference fans wonder why the Western Conference doesn't get more exposure. Hate this right now.

We did, but I don't think it makes much of a difference either way. This team no longer lives and dies by Avery. We need our top lines to be much better than they were in this first period.
