The Blues more physical forwards are going to wreak havoc around the net.

We have no one to handle the physicality of the following trio, Oshie, Backes and Stewart

They have a very solid mix up front of speed, talent and muscle.

Tonight is a huge test. HUGE

I love how everyone automatically assumes Grachev will score

Berglund can be pretty physical when he wants to.

That shift was Forsbergesque!

TBH I really like the Blues, Steen and Berglund are two of my favourite Swedes in the league. Steen is even leading them in points!

Well I think our defenders are better with physicality than with speed. I'd rather play a big team than a fast one.

Chris Stewart ripped us last year. And that was with a healthy Staal and Girardi.

His net presense is somethin our defenceman can't contain.

But overall, I agree. Faster teams tend to pose more problems for us.

Why not? Does TWC only get MSG and MSG+ in HD? Besides, the game is on MSGHD tonite, not MSG2.

Well he had a good game yes but Blake Comeau and Mike Rupp have also shredded us before as well.

Stewart has been awful this year. I'm not so worried about him.

Ah I was under the impression the game was being broadcasted on MSG2 tonight. To answer your question, I'm fairly certain MSG2HD is not offered on TWC.

J.D as much as I love him has gotten way too much credit for St. Louis. For a team that's been in a rebuild for the past 5 year that lineup is pretty lackluster.

This is one of those games thats gonna give the Rangers fits. I'm feeling optimistic though.

c'mon, there's no comparisson other than the consistent issue of size.

Bad season aside, I have more faith in Stewart's ability to hurt us on a consistent basis than I would with Rupp and Comeau.

And just like we are expecting Dubinsky to snap out of it, I am expecting Stewart to snap out of it and playing against a team that you hve had success against doesn't bode well for us.

I'm worried about all three guys as we do not have that physical defenceman that can match up with eithe rof them.

I like Girardi, he is best guy suited for that role. but there's one of him and there's three of Oshie, Stewie and Backes

I wish all three were Rangers.

Enough is enough with Avery/EC. If we're relying on either of them to win us a game in regulation, then we're already ****ed as it is.

Are you kidding? The Rangers could win the cup in 6 games with EC, and there'd be people on here whinging that we should have won it in 4 with Avery in the lineup. Unfortunately it seems enough will never be enough

Id rather have Avery in over EC but whatever, we should still win this game. I'm just getting tired of this flip flopping BS, just pick a lineup and go with it. Ever since Avery came back up we have been winning, so thats something I would have considered.

On a positive note, this will be the first time I've seen a HD game on MSG in a year! WOOTSIES!
