No free food, its Dec and its 56 degrees, last place team going against another team that fired its coach recently. Not finding many reasons to go watch this game live...other then the possibility of having to listen to Rimer and Davidge, but then hopefully something else is on and could just have it silently on PIP

What, you mean my vote as a nonlocal mod doesn't count for, like, ten thousand votes or something?

I want this one. Can't really codify why, but I really really want this one.

Fantasy question, debating on starting Sanford or Quick. Realistically with him in net you guys think you'll put up a good game tonight?

This game should decide how often we see Steve Mason before January. If Sanford returns to the form he showed in his first 6-7 starts I bet we don't see Mason again until Calgary on the 27th. Either way should be a close game tonight.

I don't like playing ourselves out the basement. I liked when we could win and still have a secure hold on it.

This is new territory and im not sure if I like it.

DSL, that's a good song. Here are the two definitive Missing Persons tracks for those who think they might have heard of this band but can't quite place it...

Yep - I like the Missing Persons. Good band, great drummer and hot chick singer.

This tune is a good one for coaches who have "lost the room."

You have a lot of anger in you because the Ducks only let us stay out of the NHL basement for around 24 hours and you want to take it out on another California team? You don't want to be the last NHL team with 10 wins (that is one tight race there)?

A win tonight, and we could be tied for 27th. I'm sure everyone in the room will be motivated by that useless fact.

She and her husband actually were members of Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention prior to forming Missing Persons.

He was a drummer & she had lead vocals & the part of "Mary" on the album "Joe's Garage." She had a prominent part in the song "Catholic Girls". You can only imagine. She also is a former Playboy bunny, & appeared in Hustler.

I used to manage a Camelot record store in the early 80s..........thus I know all this somewhat meaningless bull.................

Lol! Didn't the lead singer do some pictorials in one of the "gentleman's" magazines? Been a while since that group has been around.

Interesting. My parents actually met each other at a Zappa concert. In some weird way, I guess I actually owe my life to Frank Zappa.
I'm going to put on my ipod and contemplate this for awhile.

And, errrrr, go Jackets!

I've concluded it's because that even though I'm still entertained by most games, I do in fact hate losing.

I worked at the Sawmill Road store in the early-mid 90s.

Terry has drummed with/for just about everyone, including the Breckers, UK, Richard Marx and Jeff Beck.
