Hunter is being out coached right now, Jets have figured out the line combinations that will guarantee Ovechkin no ice time with this stupid line matching he is doing.

This shut down line is a joke, getting top line minutes because no coach is afraid of it.

Man to man defense might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. This is hockey, not lacrosse. You play a defensive zone system, zones with pressure. Not man to man. It puts way to much pressure on the wingers and if the D pinch in, it just creates more space for the other teams forwards.

If Backstrom wasn't anchoring the top line, I can't imagine how bad it would be.

What percentage of teams play man? With a mobile defense, maybe its wise.

This team is every bit as lifeless as it was when it got BB fired.

Im about sick of that shot from the point that ends up being a pass off the boards. It never freaking works.

Halpern had a strong first. I am loving Orlov's play with the puck.

Such a focus to get pucks to point. Which is great to see. We so under utilized it in past. But d needs to get pucks on net. And ovi can't be making lazy play/turnover on pass to point when slight pivot and an indirect pass off boards gets it to target.

This is just a bad hockey team right now. We can hope they snap out of it, but I'm losing faith by the day.

if neuvy can have a confidence builder game and provide another good game v colorado, things will start to improve.

this style of hockey that huntsie wants to play seems to invite these first period barrages. the caps only push the play when its safe. that means unless they have the momentum they are sitting back and letting the other team set the pace.

Need to get the point shots on net. They are missing 90% of them.

Hamrlik has looked much better under Hunter then BB.

Lots of miscues in the defensive zone that need to be ironed out.

14 to 6 in shots and 5 to 1 in scoring chances( a guess) is not that even. pretty well dominated.

We had quite a few quality chances, I think we even got them on net.

I am almost always happy weathering the storm 0-0 on the road vs a good team. It means your goalie made some saves!

Really is fun watching Orlov and season bright spot. Backstrom got completely owned by Buff lol.

Since when are the Jets considered a "good" team?
