I have to vote for Daniel, very similar reasons for voting for Henrik at Number 1. Has really helped put Vancouver on the map not just as a player earning league-wide recognition, but together with his brother they have really helped put a professional face on this organization and contributed to it being a destination for free agents.

In all honesty, the top three for me would be the Twins and Linden. But I think it would be unfair for me to vote for Henrik as No. 1 and not to vote for Daniel as No. 2.

i foresee some serious linden/bure vote splitting, which will allow daniel to walk away with the number 2. personally, i see the three of them as very close to one another. can't decide yet which one i will vote for.

I can't believe that the H.Sedin is voted over Linden, what did he do for us in game 7 against Bruins? Nothing! Linden at least score two goals against the Rangers in game 7 while being injured, he lead his 94 Canucks closer to the cup than Henrik did with his 11 Canucks

Mike Rupp or Zach Parise?

Ruslan Fedotenko or Steven Stamkos?

I think the world of Salo, but he might actually be getting over-rated here.

There’s no way he should be on this list ahead of Boudrias (led the team in scoring 5 straight years), Lever (best two-way forward in the first 20 years of franchise history), Greg Adams, or even Jovanovski.

Jovo and Salo have played a similar number of games as a Canuck, and Jovanovski simply accomplished much more – 3 All-Star games, top-10 in Norris voting on a few occasions, won Olympic gold as a Canuck.

You could be right. It makes very little difference right now though, as they'll all be on the polls once any of them start to get any votes.

That's not apples and oranges, that's apples and manure.

We really think the discrepancy of pure hockey talent from the Sedins to Linden is this? Wow. Making a case for the Sedins over Linden is legitimate, but I think Trevor is being underrated in the hockey department here.

In any case, I don't remember who said it, but they are right so far. Daniel had what 3 votes last poll? Now by default that Henrik won, he's winning? Doesn't make sense to me.

I voted Bure because I'm not 100% sure what the criteria is. He's the best player to ever wear a Canuck jersey...but the best person who wore a Canuck jersey is Trevor Linden, followed closely by the Sedins.

that still didnt change the fact that Linden lead his 94 Canucks a lot closer to the cup than H.Sedin ever did. Not to mention that Linden has to fight all four rounds without having home advantage.

One game, even Game 7 in the SCF, does not define a player. I wish people would give the Linden love a rest.

Not being a youngster like many on here, I would take Steamer over Linden.

A different score in Game 7 of the Finals isn’t ‘a lot closer’, it’s ‘a little bit closer’.

And in terms of regular-season impact, Henrik just destroys Linden. The guy was the NHL MVP, while Linden was never a top-25 player in the league.

Linden is my favourite player of all time but objectively, at this point, Henrik has simply done more. He should be the club’s all-time leading scorer by the end of the season.

There's no way second shouldn't be Daniel if Henrik is first. There isn't a gap between them at all.

This is all of my reasoning. I missed the #1 poll and I would have picked Linden.

Just funny how Daniel had BARELY any support last poll and now he's getting a ton now.

Just as I predicted in my post in the first thread. Everyone who voted Hank, now votes Daniel.

are you seriously comparing a guy who once owned all of our franchise's scoring records to mike rupp or rusty fedotenko?

I voted Bure in the first one, and Daniel in this one. You can't split up the twins ;/

I was trying to illustrate how stupid it is to pick one guy over another mostly because he scored 2 goals in game 7 of a cup finals.
