Reading the main board and other teams' boards, I get the sense that a lot of fans just don't know what the trap is. They see a team coached by Hitchcock shutting them down and it's their go-to excuse (trapping).

They need to watch some of the pre-lockout Devils games.

First time I've been on HF in a month.

Glad to see the Blues are continuing their winning ways while I am here.

Just so you know we are only winning because the Rangers are playing their worst game of the year. Well, the same can be said about all of our wins though.

It makes me wonder honestly...

I have not seen any other Ranger games this year, but I wonder why they look so... crappy tonight. Their record does not show that and I do not think we are playing the best game of our year tonight to warrant this spanking.

Yeah that cracked me up when I asked that question. I didn't think he had played that poorly, certainly not to the point I'd bench him for the whole period.

That's exactly what it is. They see Hitchcock is the coach, low scores= trap.
Whatever we're winning

To an alarmingly large amount of people playing defensively is the same as playing the trap. ಠ_ಠ

It's a cop out for the opposing team rather than saying they got outplayed

Oh and the refs were completely on our side this game. LOL, there has been 1 penalty the whole game, how hockey should be.
