Not sure about Carlyle as the answer. I doubt he is, but I have heard he is a hard ass, so he has one of the ingredients this team needs. The big question may be: can he, or any coach, be that way these days and still have a good rapport with the players. This team is regularly outworked, playing like a bunch of fat cats out there, ruling the roost and sitting on some nice long term contracts.
Whoever he is, he doesn't have to be a great x and o's kind of coach, if he is wise enough to bring in some good strategists as assistants. Alas, it won't happen.
