You are out of your head if you think Bolland will regularly see the fourth line.

You are probably right. He deserved fourth line minutes. That was my thinking.

Diggin' this, but what's your take on the possible way to get Bobby Ryan? I see you've removed Frolik. Who else did you have in mind for trading?

I'm done with Frolik. He is a waste of Roster Spot because his good D isn't good enough. Send him in a package to get help for the 3rd Line

That is on a full year basis. Since we are half way through the season, the Hawks can take on $11 mil of full year contracts contracts.

And so what you're saying is, by the the time the trade deadline rolls around, realisticly we can add just over 13-14 million$?

Funny, Cap Geek just pushed this out

These teams can add the following cap hit(s) at the deadline: #Panthers $42.6m; #RedWings, #23.5m; #Blackhawks, $22.1m; #Bruins, $13.6m.

It must be killing Dale to not be able to spend that

Also, rumor has it Garth Snow is open for business.

Were I Bowman, I would phone him up and ask what's the price for Nielsen and/or Streit

I could get on board with that. No Okposo though. If we really want a winger/wingers, it's Iginla/Rutuu or nothing.

Would love Okposo. An Okposo - Toews - Hossa line would just be a nightmare to play against.

Nielsen is one of the most underrated forwards in the league. Him and Bolland are very similiar players.

See, right there. You make consisting of those three and then what are you going to do for the second line?

Stalberg-Sharp-Kane? This line right here... just too soft.

Hayes-Bolland-Bickell?
Shaw-Mayers-Frolik?

How is at any softer then the current top six options we've been using this year?

We want to upgrade, not soften up. Lines three and four are tough to play against, the same should be said of the top two, not top 1, 3, and 4.

Stalberg will never accept a physical role on this team, it's a fact. He may show glimpses like in the playoffs last year, but that's it.

Some guys turn it on in the playoffs. Buff floated all season then turned on the physical edge come playoff time.

Your last two sentences directly contradict each other. It's a scoring line. Sharp Toews Kane isn't exactly overflowing with grit, but that line seemed to do alright.

You would be incorrect. Stalberg is 5th on the team in hits this year.

1. Seabrook
2. Carcillo
3. Bickell
4. Mayers

It's a team problem, not isolated to a player. Skill play vs. physical play. The team that won the cup was not very physical. Hayes should help. Puck possession is a problem for this team. Previous Hawks teams drew more penalties and converted. That's another story.

Absolutely. You want to talk abut a guy not using his size in the regular season.

Bobby Ryan or Ryan Getzlaf to Chicago, there’s another player in Anaheim that should be on Stan Bowman’s shopping list. Veteran defenseman Francois Beauchemin would be an ideal addition the this Blackhawks roster.
What do you think about this? Personally for me, it looks interesting

If we got those two, I have to believe 2 of (Morin, Saad and McNeill) go, probably Olsen too and our 1st. That's just the basis of a deal, they could want more. The plus side is Bob freakin' Murray is in charge of this so Bowman may be able to school him.

Like Brad Brown, right? Who knows what he wants. All of those guys could play for the Ducks right now. If he wants guys in the NHL, producing right now, we don't have them to give and will have to sit this one out.
