Odd, I somehow now have NHL Network on Time Warner...channel 729. I didn't before tonight.

It's been up since Jan 1st for TW subscribers. I'm not sure if they added additional premium channel previews as well or not.

I've already gotten to the point where I don't feel like watching choppy streams that are 45 seconds behind and trying to follow along on the boards/chat at the same time. It's severely cut my passion and excitement for Sabres games. Which this team has already done enough of lately

So **** you again, MSG.

There are fantastic feeds out there. Just need to look around! I'm watching one that hasn't skipped once and is about the quality of SD.

Yeah, I'm thinking of just canceling cable and not even switching to FiOS

This is probably not worth mentioning, but if anyone has the right equipment--a big C-Band dish and a Mpeg4 HD reciever, tonight's game will be available on the CBC Winnipeg feed from Anik F1R.

http://www.lyngsat.com/anikf1r.html

Unfortunately, CBLT, the CBC on local cable, will be carrying the Leafs game. I don't know the legality of TWC picking up the CBC feed from the satellite, but it's probably something they can't do. Shame.

I don't like choosing sides and saying who is being unrealistic in these negotiations but I just switched over my companies internet service to TWC Business class and they issued us IP addresses that are blacklisted on some spam filters so about half of our emails get bounced back saying that our 30 year old company is not legit. TWC has told us that they are aware of the blacklisted addresses and basically they will not do anything about it. It is our problem.

Did they add the NHL network because of this MSG issue?

unfortunately for everyone else this worked out for me.

In NYC I dont care to watch the Rangers. But I'm really enjoying watching NHL Network in HD almost nightly!

TBN had a live chat with the TWC folks and it didn't sound promising.

MSG will be on later this afternoon

Saw on Twitter that Faherty's has the games. Also, on my way home from work, the Milennium Hotel's bar has the games and is advertising as such with a roadside sign.

For those who have it, I have been able to use a proxy and watch the games on GameCenter. It has been working since the first game that was unavailable. I use a proxy from the UK so that I know I won't have any chance of blackout. If anyone needs some help going about it this way, pm me and I will help you out.

Are you only getting away broadcasts with your proxy? I've got a few friends who've gone the same route and had that problem.

The MSG guy is getting torn a new one on the Buffalo News chat right now. He's posted about 4 replies since 2:30 and is getting bombarded with questions.

His only non canned response was "what's your address" to the guy that asked to have a viewing party at his house.

It seems pretty obvious to me is the cause of all this MSG and Time Warner won't give in. Sorry guys you can race to the bottom but your chat encouraged me to cancel cable today and I won't be signing up for anything else.
