Bleh, so in less then half a month I may not be able to watch Sabres? That sucks something fierce. Hopefully they work something out...

If they get rid of that crawl so I can watch my game in peace, I'll sign whatever they want me to.

Boycott MSG Advertisers?

It's really the only power Sabres fans have. Maybe somebody creates a Boycott MSG Advertisers Facebook page. #BoycottMsgAdvertisers on twitter? No more Nissan,Honda,Bud Light,Supercuts....

Why exactly would we be boycotting. Apparently I'm out of the loop.

MSG is going to pull the channel from Time Warner unless they pay a big increase, and buy MSG's Fuse music channel. Same thing they did with Dish Network.

Why should I sign a petition to support MSG when they put a crawl on the screen for THE WHOLE DAMN GAME???

And all because they are trying to force Time Warner to take the ****** Fuse channel? NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE ****** FUSE CHANNEL.

As if I was not already mad enough about this game.

First they annoy and berate their customers to get rid of dish network and now they do it to timewarner.

TWC does this at least once a year. Remember when they blocked CBS for 1 Bills game and then resolved it? Remember last year when they threatened to take away ESPN for months and then did nothing?

There is zero chance they would take off the Sabres.

MSG pulled there channel from Dish network a year and a half ago. Be prepared for it to be gone from time warner.

Seriously... i hope people aren't dumb enough to sign the petition. MSG is just trying to gather fake support from people who don't understand the situation.

MSG wants close to what ESPN gets from TWC for their product. Outside of NHL and NBA games, no one watches MSG. ESPN is on a whole different level and deserves to be paid more than them.

I hate TWC but they actually have a legit gripe with MSG this time around.

I hate the MSG channels. In Albany, the Sabres have their own channel and are broadcast on MSG and MSG+ at the same time (only the Sabres channel is in HD). So they are on three channels on any given night they play. They blackout all Rangers, Devils, and Islanders games any night they play. In addition to this, MSG blacks out the games on Gamecenter. Time Warner and MSG both need to get their **** together and work this out. No NY hockey on cable is a loss for everyone.

If you have a chance to read the Sunday edition of TBN, it doesn't look good......at all.

Shocker.

MSG is being stupid here, but it's always Time Warner that has problems with the networks. Notice that?

I'm ready to drop cable. Can you use a vpn to bypass the local blackout of Sabres games on NHL gamecenter? Anyone have any experience with that?

This might accelerate my move to FiOS but at least the contract won't expire until after the new years eve game so my guests can watch the game that night. As long as I can get FiOS for about the same price as TWC without a contract, I will make the switch after the 1st, especially if MSG is dropped.

I do expect TWC to meet an agreement with MSG though. I don't see it going the same way that Dish did. TWC customers are not under contract like most Dish customers are/were and as such most TWC customers that could switch to DTV or FiOS would make the switch. The only reason I hadn't considered FiOS in the past was the lack of MSG HD and now that they have that, there's nothing holding TWC customers back from switching other than if it's not available in their area.

I signed up to be notified when FiOS was available in my area about five years ago.

I'm still waiting on that..

Yeah, I'm not really surprised. At my parents house in Lancaster they can't get it but we can in Amherst/Snyder/Eggerstville. This I do not understand. Up here I seriously doubt that there are as many people who are in their target market than down in Lancaster.

so if MSG is to blame for this nonsense, then terry and ted are the ones who we should be aiming our angst. they hold the buying power to make this right. they need to buy out their contract with MSG.. MSG would never pull out of a network in NYC, so why should WNY subscribers get screwed? sabres never belonged on MSG. get us on one of the fox stations or some other local network.. or just make their own sports network.

no reason time warner should lose customers over this and no reason sabres fans shouldnt be able to watch games.. forget MSG. time to move on, ted.
