The Ennis call was a dive, and I thought Dion although he hit him from behind Kassian has to be better prepared for contact, Dion pushes him and he goes flying into the boards..come on!

P.S Reimer on the 4th goal has to be better, just plain and simple.

if they keep it up with these flat out retarded penalties, we won't have a hope in hell winning tomorrow.

I don't like judging offensive players against this joke of a defensive squad.

He does look great though.

He stuck with Jake Gardiner going around the net. I was just as shocked as Gardiner was.

When we're on the pk it looks like the other team has the option to pass to ANY player on the ice... everyone's literally wide open. It's just disgusting to watch.

For all the people complaining about the refs, the fact is if the Leafs had a decent PK, most of these penalties would be just a few minutes off the clock.

The problem is a fundamental one in the make up of the tactics and the personnel running and playing it.

Can't blame the refs for a loss for calling 2nd period penalties because the average team can survive a bad call or two in the second period.

Burke needs to lift his trade freezee and make some moves. Too much depth, not enough elite talent

Pro scouting tip: you don't need to be an electric skater when you are 6'3, 240lbs.

They probably should have taken more notice of Nazem Kadri's skating. Especially when he is 5'10, 175lbs.

Not eventual he already is. Leafs D has been helpless against him on the boards all night. That's why Phaneuf smoked him from behind he's frustrated.

Goaltending helps too, .765 sv% for Reimer, .920 for miller. Players have chances to clear the puck they dont. Bozak had a chance to go grab a stick on the bench but decides to just stand there and watch. Gardiner had no point of chasing the buffalo player behind the net and that resulted to a goal. At some point people have to realize the coach can only do soo much when it comes to coaching. Steckel is a pylon on the PK, other than wining faceoffs he just casually skates around. Dupuis-steckel are the worst PK tandem.

Here's the question:

Can our PK get worse?

I've given up hope on it improving to a point where we are comfortable with it. I just hope it can't get any worse..

At this point I don't even care if we make the playoffs. This team is going nowhere with this pk anyway. But it's only a matter of time they drop out if this continues.

Reimer and Gustavsson are basically the same right now.

Make amazing saves when they're on and let in a soft goal 5 minutes later. That being said, Monster has been much better so far this year and we need to be starting him.

Reimer hasn't been great at all this season. Aside from the first game against Montreal, he hasn't really had any great performances. He played well against Carolina but he barely faced any shots..

Burke is making a move. You know, the Wilson extension.

Normally with 3 Leafs in one corner all looking at the boards. Unlike other teams PK there is no aggressiveness towards the points but then all the players down low are open. It's almost mind boggling that it hasn't been fixed. Obviously they are using the wrong personnel to kill off penalties.

Only way we win this? Double-shift Lupul and Kessel after this penalty is over (Most likely 5-2 by then), make sure Liles and Gardiner (Yeah, he's having a weak game, but, **** it, might as well) are out there as much as possible and hope for the best.

Probably looking at a 16-13-3 record going into Monday though.
