Lucic vs Carkner.

Good fight. Lucic got him good in the beginning and then Carkner got him back.

Well, when someone doubts Lucic's toughness, show that fight..

Carkner scares me...

Good shots landed both ways.

But Lucic never fights heavies, right Habs fans?

Carkner stood up and hit Lucic as Lucic shot the puck. They shoved a bit and dropped the gloves. Lucic got a couple of shots in and had Carkner off balance. A body shot stunned Carkner pretty good, but it looked like Lucic started to tire, in which Carkner came back with a couple of good rights.

Watching that replay, it wasn't as close as I thought. Win Lucic.

Meh, boring fight. Lucic obviously threw more punches but didn't land anything major. Both had each other locked up pretty good.

Full credit to Looch for going with a heavyweight...but man did it ever look like he wanted that fight to be over during those last 20 seconds. Refs wait a bit longer to get in there and it could have gotten ugly.

Solid fight between two huge men, I'd call it a draw. If absolutely forced to pick a winner, I'd say edge Lucic, but really it was a draw, no clear winner.

I don't know what fight some of you were watching, but Lucic pretty clearly won that one.

You can give an edge to Lucic if it makes you feel better, but it was a pretty close fight. Definitely not a clear "winner".

Couple of big boys scrapping there, 220 & 237 pounds. Wow.

neither guy throws a punch in the end, but yet, to you, a hab fan, it looked like Looch wanted it to be over....

Where are all the Habs fans to whine about Lucic now? He did very well against a legit heavyweight.

Can score 30 goals, hit like a truck and fight just about anyone. I wish the Oilers had a player like that.

But.. Lucic never fights heavyweights. That was clearly Karlsson in Carkner's jersey.

People should really focus on the fight instead of the dumb sarcastic comments.

Honestly, my hats off to Lucic for sure. I truly didn't think he could hold it down against that level of heavyweight, but he did very well, not only that, but I would give him the edge in a close win. Carkner is a beast too, but at the start it didn't seem like he could keep up with Lucic's hand speed. Great fight, always respected Lucic, but he definitely jumped up a level in my books with this one.

Having a first line player that can fight anyone in the league is such a plus. I really am jealous and I hate the Bruins.

Yeah, that argument doesn't work anymore. Lucic scrapped with the likes of Vandermeer, Orr, Erskine, Winchester. Lucic is a tough SOB who just knows how to score 30 goals. I wish he was on the Habs roster.

No he's not. It's the Sens, save the trolling by saying stupid comments for the Habs and 'Nucks fans.

Edge Lucic, solid tilly.
