It's going to be tough for the Ducks getting in late tonight and facing a rested and motivated team that came of a suboptimal performance.

MTS centre will be rocking but I think the Ducks are going to be in deep.......can't wait to get in the building and be part of this night

Yeah, the last thing you want to do around here is piss off the vast majority of posters with a "jinx" post, who will then cry for your body to be doused in gasoline and set afire, and once they come for you with their pitchforks and torches you are then forced to threadban yourself until the end of the game, and then beg for their forgiveness and mercy afterwards.

It's not a pretty thing to go through

Did anyone watch Selanne's full interview with Sara Orlesky on TSN?

She asks him point blank if he would consider playing for Winnipeg again and he said (paraphrasing) he considered it and even asked his family about it and his sons were actually really excited about the prospect (because they could play hockey outdoors) and encouraged him to do it. But in the end he decided to stay in Anaheim.

I don't know if that's just Selanne catering to Jets fans, but it's certainly a contrast from the "I won't play for any other team. I will retire a Duck." statements that he's made in the past.

I caught that and got excited...but we all now he's not coming back to play for the Jets. That is, unless we're really loud tomorrow

I hope we win, but I also hope Selanne scores and shoots his glove in the air for the celebration.

I saw this too, and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

I do have a feeling if the circumstances are right (His approval, Ducks out of playoff contention, Jets in playoff contention), we will see Teemu Selanne as a Winnipeg Jet this season.

I know I am repeating myself here from recent posts, but I can't help but believe it.

Not anymore: we dulled them on you.

Go Go! Rebound from that dull game the Caps forced us to play, and don't let the Ducks take out their anger over their loss yesterday.

Bets on who is in/out of the line-up?

1. Antro - I say yes
2. Miettinen - maybe
3. Fehr - yes
4. Enstrom - YES!
5. Burmi - no. No talk about his injury or progress since it was initially announced.

Yessir.

And I thought the rule of thumb was that you could make the GDT 24 hours or less before game time. Or maybe I'm just making stuff up.

i am trying not to get too excited...the games that i have been to that i anticipated big things from i have often been disappointed and the ones i didnt expect much from have often been spectacular.

i hope teemu scores a garbage goal and throws his glove in the air and shoots it down with his stick...that would blow the roof off the barn.

they should retire his number.

hoping for a 4-3 win...teemu hat trick.

I am really excited to be going to this one. (resting vocal chords now )

But the only way I am cheering for him on the ice (aside from the standing ovation he will undoubtedly receive) is if he scored on his own net, thus getting one last goal for the jets, because that would be awesome!

I wonder if they'll have the game on at the Christmas party I'm being forced to go to tomorrow night. Oh well, it'll be PVR'd anyway.
