Did Zach score in the Minnesota game? I forget.

The team has had a good job this season with players performing well in their home towns. Clarkson in Toronto. Hopefully Marty can continue that.

"Kovalchuk believes that this kind of production is what he and Parise are supposed to be doing."

And he is correct.

And if they continue to produce (their respective careers suggest they will), the Devils will be a playoff team. Bet on it.

Many miles to go, but the Devils' season is unfolding precisely as it should.

Someone said a little earlier in the week as much as Salvador makes us crazy if we didn't have him, and or Volchenkov we would be doing horrible. Even worse state than the D is already in. I don't remember if I read that here, or on the comments in the Fire, And Ice Blog.

Their right though. Salvador had to play backup Goalie more than once for Heddy tonight. Bryce has also saved us from goals against before during this season.

Bottom line is you can't expect this D to be like Daneyko, or god forbid Rafalski, Scott Stevens, or Nieds, but we really need Salvador more than you think.

i'm excited by the fact that the henrique line, despite most of us thinking it wouldn't work (including myself), has worked. it's been clicking lately and has been awesome to watch. i hope they continue their roll because it is truly exciting to watch.

i personally thought that salvador played a fantastic game tonight, and not solely because of the save he had to make for heddy.

Put me down as someone who ripped PD for keeping Parise and Kovy together. I'm eating crow now. They looked terrible for a while and were even running into eachother, but it's just beautiful to watch now. Henrique is a big reason why...Dude just gets the game. Hockey IQ through the roof. That line is clicking on all cylinders and is unstoppable at this point.

Yep, I didn't like it from the start either and when they began struggling and bumping into each other I kept asking why PDB kept them together so pass some of that crow over here

Right now, I couldn't be more happy with how they've played

I'm eating the crow too. I didn't think they looked so much terrible as much as I figured we didn't need Kovy, and Parise on the same line.

When Parise was our leading goal scorer all them years he didn't need Kovy cause Kovy wasn't here he was down in Atlanta.

When Kovy scored all of his goals for us last season he didn't need Parise cause he was injured, and out pretty much all season.

It's working now so just keep it where it is!

Well it seems our RW problems are solved. *insert sarcasm*

All that leaves is the defense.

A Trottier post without any bolded words.

A true rarity.

I was one that kept looking for that first game magic they produced in the first game last season. At that point I thought Wow what a season we will have. Then the wheels fell off "Ya Know" Now that wheel is back in full form. ITS BACK

I also at one point I said enough DB its not working don't be a JMAC do something. Glad I'm not the coach.

If we win this game, DeBoer will be over .500 in NHL coaching totals for the first time as a Devil.

They all look pretty happy over there, kinda like we were when JMac finally got the hook.

They also guarantee a boring trap game tonight.
