MDZ was solid. Hagelin had a very good game. Nobody else impressed me in the slightest.

Del Zotto played well.

Christensen needs to be sent to minors.

Play Avery.

Pretty easy to see why Elliot has the numbers he has. Not a single rebound or legitimate scoring chance. A cut out of a goaltender could post a .920SV% on this team.

^ Me watching this game.

Del Zotto and Hagelin were good. The rest were pathetic. Dubinsky in particular. 1 goal for $4M. Get this scrub off the team, bench his ass for a player who will actually hit the damn net from 5 feet out.

Seriously? Enough with Avery already. He's not a good hockey player.

I've been saying this for a while now. An example has to be made that his production cannot be tolerated. 1 goal in 29 games in unacceptable. If the Caps can bench Semin, we can bench Brandon Dubinsky.

I'm not even going to touch upon the embarrassingly bad defense, because only a moron would think that our patchwork D would hold up without Staal and Sauer.

Gaborik and Richards need to be better. Gaborik has been a total non-factor two games in a row. Richards had his worst game as a Ranger tonight. Very lazy backchecking on the Blues' first two goals. And that's exactly why Torts benched him for half of the first period. I know Richardss not exactly known for his defense, but he needs to make more of an effort in his own zone.

MDZ
????

The good - the 2 guys above, Stralman was ok, there was a 5 min patch at the end of the 2nd.....
The bad - the team in general, didn't create rebounds, didn't forecheck hard, had no idea what to do with the puck the few times they managed to get it out in front of the net. Also, the back-checking was not to the usual Ranger standard
The Redden - it's a tie between Dubi and some of the posters on this board....

Tortorella is in love with Dubinsky. It won't happen.

I'd honestly rather play Christensen/Avery over him at this point. He's absolutely worthless right now.

Dubinsky was actually one of our better players tonight. Was a part of the majority of the scoring chances, had the primary assist on DZ's goal.

The 4 minutes he gets would make a monumental difference in our game!

At least the power play didn't stink in this game.

And also missed a handful of shots from five to six feet out. Bottom line, he has to score. A primary assist doesn't change that. He needs to be more of a factor. I know he is "homegrown" but lets stop making excuses. He's bad.

Agreed. Everyone craps on Dubinsky but some other players were far worse tonight (Richards, Fedotenko, Anisimov was too fancy on a few plays).

Not really. The pass was nice, but for the most part, he couldn't handle the puck for the life of his. Even if the puck was glued to the end of his stick he'd find a way to mishandle it.

He was ineffective, falling all over the place, and blowing numerous chances by either waiting far too long to shoot, or completely missing the net
