Lines I'd expect to see tonight:

Vanek-Szczechura-Pominville
Ennis-Roy-Stafford
Adam-Gaustad-Kassian
Ellis-McCormick-Stuart

Regher-Sekera
Ehrhoff-Leopold
Weber-Gragnani/McNabb

Enroth
Miller

Guessing 3-2 Sabres win. Goals by Vanek, Ennis, Kassian.
Why is a career AHLer the choice for our top line. Insane. Ruff's love of Gragnani and dislike of Weber amazes me too. I say they win. No excuses. Pens just as banged up. Maybe more

Chewie has been pretty good on the top line, in my opinion. Also, we don't want to see Roy with them because his line has been alright, and he would kill anything Pominville and Vanek generate. Adam and kassian play well together so we don't want to split them up.... Gaustad? No.

Having Vanek and Pominville generate on a consistent basis is much more important than having a good partner for Kassian. Paul's done a nice job filling in there, but Adam should've been back on that line awhile ago.

Seems like when the Sabres lose a game they are on some sort of losing streak and in the very next game they win it becomes a unbeaten streak.

So I call it a SO or OT loss.

@BuffNewsVogl ·More
Ryan Miller to start in goal for Sabres against Penguins. Nineteen skaters in warmup so no word on healthy scratch yet.

I wonder who's hurt enough to be a game time decision.

Gotta get the puck in deep and work this team below their goal line.

Yeah, it's pretty likely that McNabb will be sitting.

Only 29 games (not including tonight's) until Grags retains RFA status, **** yeah!

McNabb was telling Hamilton he hasn't been good enough of late and he knows it.

He should have pulled the Gragnani and said "Look at my stats"

Ruff is the worst and needs to be fired yesterday

Dear Lindy Ruff,
Please explain to me how this whole "scratching players when they have a few games of suck" thing did not ever get applied to Gragnani.

Sincerely,
Nearly every Buffalo Sabres fan in the world

Doesn't matter, Miller will save the day against the Penguins!

I knew Lindy would give up on Enroth after his last start.

They likely will. Rochester is in Texas right now, so it doesn't much matter whether they do it tonight, tomorrow or later this week before the Amerks next game.

Those Knicks commercials with 'Melo are wonderfully understated.
