Pepsi Center, Denver Colorado.

Goaltenders:

J-S Giguere.

Michal Neuvirth (most likely?)

TV: Comcast SportsNet
Radio: 1500AM, 820AM, XM and Caps Radio Network
Pre-Game: Pre-Cap Podcast at 2 p.m., Two-Man Advantage at 2 p.m., John Walton’s one-on-one audio with Dale Hunter at 5 p.m., all on washingtoncaps.com.

Washington Capitals (16-13-1)

The Caps close out a two-game western road trip with a Saturday night visit to Denver, where they will take on the Colorado Avalanche. Washington eked out a 1-0 win over Winnipeg on Thursday night in Manitoba to start off the journey on the right foot.

Thursday’s win over the Jets was Washington’s second in succession on the road, and it followed a five-game road losing streak. The Caps are now 6-8 on the road this season.

Giggy starting for Avs, Hunwick in place of Quincey.

Win = Yours

Hope Green comes in and score 18 goals to save my hockey pool injury slide.

Joining the team in Colorado isn't the same as playing vs Colorado... i could be wrong...
Otherwise i dont think he will play.

Hopefully we can get Neuvy on a groove because God knows neither of them have played up to their potential thus far. Let's get one step closer to first in the Southeast and one step closer to drafting Yakupov.

Also, Colorado's GDT has Varly out with a minor back injury, so perhaps his injury issues are about to come to the fore. It's listed as minor obviously, but back injuries can be tricky.

They decided to rest him because they have realised he cannot carry this team on his back.

i was looking forward to playing vs varly and maybe seeing a purrutu goal. West Coast game vs a backup goalie, we should win easily but this will prolly be a 1 goal game.

Come on Avs coaching staff....don't be a bunch of Nancys and hide Varly in the showdown both sides want to see.

Don't suck Caps.
