Ugh, one of our worst power plays this season.

I haven't been to VC to see Huntsy behind the bench, but, as much as I am happy that we made the coaching change, I do miss BB's emotion during the games.

Really nothing to do but laugh. The players just don't have the drive or heart. They are notorious for having an emotional win then blow it against teams they should win against.

The power play issues really magnify the three most glaring problems with this team.

1) Speed. It's not that we don't have speed, it's that our fast players are all extremely undersized.

2) Anticipation. So many horrible blind passes. I don't know if it's communication (I sense it is), but this team cannot string 2-3 passes together to create space, even on the PP

3) Puck handling. I'd say we have 3 players who are capable of carrying the puck into the zone with any regularity.

Not sure these are easily fixable problems. We could start by winning the occasional face off, but when you have 2 weak centers (MoJo and MP) and a winger playing C, that's what you get.

Definitely the worst ice we've seen this year. Doesn't excuse the piss poor performance, just makes it that much more painful to watch.

The passing has been awful on that last PP. Seems like Orlov is our only defender who can deliver an accurate pass. BB and his 'system' ruined most of your young players.

No fun.. No fun at all watching this mess.. Shakeup time can't get here soon enough as far as Im concerned.. This team needs a new "star" who can actually live up to his contract/billing.. Another 1 goal game.. They should all really be ashamed of their salaries/skills/performance these days..

This team has too many passengers. They need winners.

I was just glad that he slapped low for rebound on that break with ward in first. Normally it's the chest.

The entire teams hockey sense is low. Which is something a lot of us attributed to BB's development of these kids.

I'll second that. It was entertaining to see the arms in the air, the mouth going *******, head back and eyes rolling. Is that still happening in Anaheim. I haven't watched one of their games.

Wow, hell of an interview by Locker, right there.
Hard hitting journalism.
Surprised Smokin Al didn't make the trip so he could get drunker in the higher altitude.

I'm sorry but Hunters decision making is very questionable to say the least. No wonder out top guys look out of it. Halpern playing more than 8,19, or 28? Chimeras line getting the most playing time? Laich on the point on the PP? Semin not on the PP? A lacrosse-type dzone system, which clearly isn't working? I don't blame them. I thought Hunter would light a spark under the guys, but his decision making is even more questionable than BB. Let's just hope he lets them play in the 3rd.

Backstrom has also seemed to get a free pass...He doesnt out muscle anyone anymore and is just as guilty of shooting high and wide..and bad passes.

Should have seen the "colors of BB" last night. Ducks crapped bed on first two goals against.

Considering the roster that the Avalanche have tonight...this may be the worse loss tonight.

This team honestly has no drive and there can't be worse goal tending in the league.

Time to trade a core player.

I mean when Chimera is on your PP...come on.

It's the same thing game in and game out here.
I have no idea how they cannot get it right.
