I can't believe we just lost to the Colorado ****ing Avalanche.

One of the worst hockey games i've ever seen, from both teams.

Wow, bad night all around.

2 bad goals against
0 offensive pressure all night
0 shots in the 3rd whole down a goal
0 face offs won (it seemed)

Just another poor effort, started with that fluke goal against.

Ugh, this team is getting harder to watch every game this season.

GMGM, just trade Eakin and Schultz, and get us a good puck moving D, so we can stop blaming losses on Green being out. At this point he is out indefinitely, and that is our major problem, or at least major excuse.

rh, bud. guys that fight in the nhl now are bigger and specifically train to fight and they hit to break bones. the old idea that you players dont get hurt in hockey fights is an old idea. catch a guy with one clean punch now and its lights out. in the old days dale didnt knocked out.

fighting is serious business now. its a reason why its going away. every caps player that fights more than once or so a season has been concussed at least once a season going back three or four years.

This is worse than watching Hanlon hockey. At least then you had an exciting Ovechkin and a team that outworked the opposition most nights.

Viva la CBS line!

Do you really think Defense was the problem tonight?
Really?

logically speaking the caps are not scoring. you want a shake up to straighten up the scoring. after this game you would want to trade who? semin? the one guy that scored? for shake up purposes you wnat to dump someone that is not producing. who would you choose? 8 or 19?

or just find a scape goat to dump on.....trade ward or brouwer? they could trade schultz as a shake up but he didnt play

19 not producing...?
He's our most consistent player and has 30 points...
Rarely makes a bad play.

No, not at all, I never said it was in the first place. I was saying we need a puck moving D, so we can get it out of our damn zone.

Lack of any effort outside of the goal crease was our problem tonight.

Right now making the playoffs is more of a concern than Cup aspirations.

The rebuilt has failed then, cue a new mini-rebuild. Cup contender to crap in 2 years with no finals appearances at all. Fire McFail.

At this rate, our own draft pick might be the lottery pick.
