reading between the lines of the green situation. this is a serious injury. think sutherby, clark and poti. his injury was a contact injury and not a muscle pull. i am no longer expecting him to return in the foreseeable future.

Caps win 4-3 with both teams looking extremely good and the Avs getting completely screwed by the refs a dozen times.

Sherman sees this as indication to keep Sacco for the rest of the season.

I see a regulation win, with actual scoring tonight...

Who gets it, sadly I am not sure. Giggy in net makes me kinda nervous for some reason.

How about "Kick some TAIL for NAIL!"

Having said that, 3-1 win for the Avs. Giggy stands on his head, neck, and hip.

Can't wait until 9PM lol. We're due a break out game, but I still respect the Avalanche enough to give us a game. I hope the game is entertaining and we can put together a win streak. The standings are going to be pretty tight all season and Florida won't go away. Looking forward to see Orlov.

Orlov just seems so savvy on the puck. I think he uses his BH better than the other Dmen. Heck I am calling it. Orlov a PP goal Hendricks an ENG. Semin -1. Caps 2-1.

I already gave up on Green this year. Nice addition when healthy, but the injury after injury situation gets old fast. Last year he had terrible luck, especially when he blocked a shot with his face.

Honestly this is the biggest game of the year so far. It might not seem like it, and it might not have the hype of some of the other games we've played but make no mistake. This is the game.

How do we win a one goal game and get an ENG?

Up 1-0 then score the EN then they score one?

Possible I guess...

Good catch, though, I didnt really think about it.

Hendricks should be interesting to watch.

2-1 Avs.

Hunter pulls the goaltender with a minute left but when the Caps dump it in they determine the forechecking opportunity isn't there so they retreat into a 6 man trap and the Avs just pass it back in forth without ever trying to leave their zone and run out the clock.

Hunter fans go ga ga over the incredible discipline it took for the Caps to do that and how great it is to finally have a team playing the right way...

We both know Bruce would try to go with 7 attackers. Old habits are bad to shake.

No more seamless glass at Colorado? Always loved the sound the puck made when it hit it. I'll miss that.
