I've been begging for that to happen. I don't care if it's Vokoun, Neuvy, Holtby, Grubauer or whomever. Just tired of seeing people bash Vokoun for soft goals and give Neuvy a pass for his.

Sorry, that whole "slap in the face" crap about not getting the season opener start really rubbed me the wrong way.

I personally give both goalies are hard time for the soft goals they let in but Vokoun has let in many more this year than Neuvirth. On top of that he acts like a ****** when he stares down his dmen after a goal when he feels they did something wrong so he obviously is going to face more heat for weak goals.

That softie hurt, but Neuvy did real good preventing a sure fire 2nd goal. Hope that continues.

Agreed not a fan of his attitude at times. After two good games he is following up them up with a **** show again.

This team is so bad. Every other team in the league takes it to their weak defense.

The thing with Vokoun is that he is supposed to be a top goalie. Neuvirth is a relatively inexperienced compared to Vokoun. Expectations are higher for TV.'The Panthers offered Vokoun a three-year deal worth more than $8 million before free agency opened. Vokoun turned it down" He even mentions in the article that he's considered a top goalie. http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/09/0...-decision.html

Pissed away PP, and sloppy end of the period. Disappointing.

Can't be too upset. The set plays and the touch passing are refreshing to see. Just need to collect puck better. A lot pick bouncing both sides.

Bruins spank the Flyers 6-0. When do the Caps play Boston?

Very odd defensive coverage...I noticed several times caps players are letting the avs players have the puck behind the net. The caps players just kind of get into a set position in front of the net.

And where is Big John? I didn't check the lineup, is he playing?

Mike Green with his injury can make a line change faster than Semin.

And that was among the worst I've ever seen.

Nice work at the dot tonight, boys

Not going to win when you lose every single offensive zone draw you take.

Yeah the Flyers getting a taste of their own medicine after what they did to the Caps.

The Caps don't play the Bruins till Jan. 24th. Hopefully by then Thomas has a case of the softies as well.
