Team is looking magnificent just from the final camp roster.

Wow, could be one of the most balanced and talented team in years.

Ceci and Griffith are the most surprising to me. And Puempel must have no shot of being ready without an invite.

Good on HC for inviting Cantenacci, guy with wheels, who I believe has a real shot at the team if he stands out in camp

There should be 2 Team Canada....Also, they should have had a younger goalie. Even if it's just to know what camp is all about. Fucale should have been there.

Catenacci*

Yes, Sabres fans love him and I hope Canada does as well if he makes the team - he's a great talent.

Is the pronunciation on his last name french-sounding? Or is it simply Foo-kale, or Foo-call?

I can't wait to see Subban finally be that goalie Canada has been missing for a while now. Subban can actually handle the pressue and stress and the subbans thrive off of it. Visentin and Wedjewood just cracked under pressure and fell apart it feels nice to have good goaltending unlike those 3 horrific years.

I'd add those two and Percy and my next three most surprising. Just no room on the defense.

What pressure did Visentin crack under?

I hate how Visentin gets all the cr**p for that 3rd period meltdown against the Russians, but returning players like Ryan Ellis get none.

Visentin played in 2 world juniors and had 1 bad period, yet he gets punished. he was phenomenal against the Americans in 2011, and the Finns last year

If people already finds that there are surprises and don't agree with the invitations...just wait till the cuts happen.....Will be really ugly....

What about this late 2012 draft pick...Beauvillier? Since his point totals in QMJHL are low, he should be some defensive monster?

Subban didn't get an invite last year, a 17 year old wasn't getting invited this year. Next year it gets interesting with Fucale, Comrie and Martin.

Drouin and Nate Mack! :Yo: Figured Fucale wouldn't this year, he'll get his chance.

RNH and Nate Mack as a 1-2 center punch. Nice.

I think our second line should be:

Huberdeau - Mack - Drouin

So much chemistry last time

But that's my point. They should invite 1 17-year old that deserve it every year. We all know Paterson will never make it. I'd give a kid a chance to see what's is all about.

He had one bad period but it was a really bad one at the worst time. Pretty much he definition of cracking under the pressure.

From the ones likely to make the team, who do you guys see as the captain?

My bet is Huberdeau.
