Of course. That would have displayed TOUGHNESS! And been entertaining. Isn't that what matters?

Maybe Price is as depressd about what he sees in front of him as I am. But he has to soldier it out until theer are some rays of light.

Mods please don't. This is the most exciting thing I've read in this thread today.

This is what the Habs need to do.. The entire mentality around the Habs just needs to change but management doesn't seem to have the balls to take risks so we're stuck with mediocrity..
Who would be our "Carter and Richards"?

Those are two top end talents that garnered a lot of interest. I guess It could be Cammalleri and Plekanec if they weren't both playing poorly but they are. We have been saddled with dead weight from gainey and now have to deal with it.

This is actually fairly typical of a "scorched Earth rebuild", especially if you don't replace the craptastic management that precipitated the team sucking in the first place: you end up stagnating at the bottom of the standings.

the habs should draft a goalie in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th round. This will help there depth a bit.
And dont they still have Karri Ramo, but hes in Russia. Maybe Emelin should convince him to come over. and Erik Cole can pay for his flight.

Actually that is just business as usual on the habs board, the only difference is everyone was quiet for about 20 seconds after the initial shock.
