There's a lot of work to be done. The team rarely shows good puck support, which is why they have problems getting it out of their own zone. Too many players are trying to carry it up the middle through the neutral zone trying to do it themselves.

When we make quick short passes and support each other we're successful. When guys are trying to make long passes, or carry it themselves we're not. We have too much of the latter play and not enough of the former. Way too individualistic.

I would also like to see us play a successful O-zone trap, and try to box the other team in their own zone like they box us in, which happens to us most of the time, especially in the 3rd.

Defensively, other teams gain access to our zone so easily. We don't protect the middle of the ice well enough in our own zone, and we allow way too many back door plays. I'm not sure why we don't collapse into the slot like most other teams do, there's so much freaking space open in our slot.

Like I said, there's a lot of work to be done. JM's firing was just the first step. I don't think there's enough talent on this team to finish in a playoff spot, but who knows. It's not like the other teams around us are any good either.

Well that was a short honeymoon. #firecunneyworth
Most of the team looked like they actually cared and played hard... in a rather disorderly fashion.
"Hey, Martin's gone, let's do whatever we want!"

Seriously Cammy is by far the worst player i've seen in the nhl, am I the only one that sees it? The guy gives the puck away 95% of the time he has it and shows no hustle or strong play along the boards. We all bash Gomez and rightfully so but come on at least he tries.

Come on people. What did you expect? Man oh man you are a depressing bunch.

I for one sensed a big difference in our habs. Everyone seemed to open up their game. Probably the reason we got scored on 5 times, but hey, this is the first step.

Just relax. Everything will come together in good time.

Souray didn't have nice things to say about Kovalev.

Did RC get Darche to demonstrate how to walk for him?

Darche had more ES time than Cammalleri, Plekanec, Kostitsyn, Desharnais, Pacioretty, and Leblanc.

2 more minutes than Pleks, too. One full minute more in the third.

Fire Cunneyworth!

Blasphemy. He can play hockey, unlike those goons like David Clarkson. How can you not fall in love with his beautiful skating?!!!!!

If we keep working hard as a whole like tonight, make the proper adjustments, it will pay and the wind will turn, but we have to keep working hard like this, thats the only way this team will get on the right track.. As long as they are working hard and trying, I will be there to watch and support.. We loss tonight but it wasnt a lack of effort.
If it wasn't from a lack of effort, it was the worst hockey game they have played all year. Turnovers, players caught out of position, bad penalties.....just absolutely terrible undisciplined and selfish hockey. You may enjoy watching this sort of crap but not me.

The players are to blame for this loss just like they were responsible for Thursday's loss versus Philly.

We gave up 2 powerplay goals tonight! WTF! I hate martin, but the defensive system might be better for us.

You guys need to find people who actually WANT to play in Montreal for the Canadiens. I don't know why you go out and sign an American to be you captain and add Scott Gomez who is useless. Carey Price is really the whole franchise. Everyone should be up for grabs.

He needs to wake the **** up. I'll buy that one coach was stiffling him. Two? I don't think so... Same goes for lots of other vets... And they need to do something regarding Subban's lack of progress.

Cammalleri = out
Darche = out

It's been almost 8 games I'm saying we should bench Subban, he's playing worst than a rookie, always on his ass or ****ing lobbing the puck in the neutral zone cause he's keeping the puck for freaking 1 minute everytime and the gap close on him.

Mathieu Darche played ****ing 20 MINUTES tonight. 20 ****ING MINUTES WTF IS GOING ON!!!

Why is Blunden even here? The guy creates chances and get like 3 minutes a night! I don't see the point in even having him up with that amount of play time.
