I doubt Cunneyworth had much time for adjustments in those 6 hours between getting the job and tonight's game.

He definitely has work to do in the defensive zone, we were playing much better defense the first 2 months. Last few games defense has been shaky(and I include all 5 guys on the ice in that).

Aside from the coaching, one thing is the leadership of this team is completely absent.

All i know is, most fans would have thrown Koivu and Company so far under the bus at this point if they were here.

Pleks is back to playing like a little girl
Cammalleri is MIA
Hal Gill needs to start showing why he was brought back.
Gionta - ??? Never saw much leadership other than being a hard worker.
Kostitsyn plays his game. Never really steps it up tho. Always to expectations or below.

Mario Tremblay's list of accomplishments they just threw up on the screen on RDS was just sad.

You mean Go Habs Go, the one that sounds just like:
Go Pens Go
Go Wings Go
Go Hawks Go
Go Bruins Go
Go Leafs Go
Go Sens Go
...
Everyone chants the same thing nowadays, it's like we're always playing in the same arena.
I don't like the Ole chant, but at least it's something different than the Go onesyllableteamname Go or the Let's Go twosyllableteamname chants.

Desharnais and to a lesser extent, Pacioretty are the only forwards who played well in the Top-6. Cole was good until he got in penalty trouble too.

I really thought we were about to tie it before Patches took that cross checking penalty.

3rd line + 1st PK unit duties (alost 6 minutes)... looks pretty normal to me.
If it shows anything, it's how much the forward corps is depleted right now.

yes and...

The guy is working hard and put his heart for the team, he's not having big skills, i know.

Actually, do you prefer having a floater like Cammy on the ice? for me it's a big NO.

Gorges said it today, they are guys on this team that are not on the same page, guys they don't play well from the beginning of the year and that have to change.

And i'm pretty sure Josh was one of those who stand up in the room tonight after the game.

Well if Darche didn't play 20 minutes, we'd probably have lost 8-3 because our top line does nothing be get scored on anyway.

That's why I said a lesser extent. I had to add someone so I didn't get called a DD homer.

Patches had a few nice cycles though and helped on a few plays, but he was merely average, which isn't what we need from him.

The only notable thing he did as a coach was ruin this franchise.

Hey Habs fans,

Patrik Elias broke the all-time NJ Devils scoring record tonight with his 348th goal. If any Habs STH was at the game tonight and has their ticket, I collect all the tickets from Devils players big games (I have Brodeur wins #1, #100, #200, #300, #400 #500 #552 wins, Stanley Cup clinchers etc... stuff like that). I would gladly PayPal you the mailing fee if you'd help a fellow Hockey memorabilia collector and send me the ticket!

Thanks!

BG
