Marty Havlat left HP Pavilion on foot with the help of a walking stick.

If Havlat can walk, can't be the knee. Sounds like an ankle.
AIUI, it will be Sunday (day off) or Monday before the full prognosis may be announced.

Scores his goal, then goes down! Nice!..
Knowing Havlat's past, this could be a while.

The boards are going to be in a conference call tomorrow for a disciplinary hearing.

Well I think the ice should be getting the phone call. It's all slippery and what not.

Whenever a player falls on his own at a WorSharks game I always yell "ice is slippery"

I don't think it's a big deal, he either twisted an ankle, or from what it looked like to me smacked his knee/shin/ankle on the boards and maybe just has some swelling.
Probably a few weeks, tops.

Of course he starts to play like a top 9 forward and gets hurt. Ugh, injury prone players so frustrating.

The HD broadcast showed the incident much better. It was clear that he toe picked he top of the boards and probably pulled his quad.

The guy clearly needs a LifeCall medical alarm around his neck.

I hope Havlat will be feel better soon, and get back in the line-up to help his teammates. I really can't afford the Sharks to lose again.

Mixed feeling on this one. Other than his goal, I thought he played terribly. Two of Edmonton's goals could be attributed to Havlat.

It is not Havlat's fault,
I thought he got his game back.

Giving the puck away in the neutral zone on the PP leading to a breakaway goal isn't his fault?

I just found out that the coach has not given the update yet and he will notify the injury report on Havlat on Monday morning. Hope Havlat will be out of injury bug soon.

That is a set play that happens all the time. The Sharks are not the only team that does it, nor should they be. Havlat screwed the pooch on that one.

I agree. Havlat didn't have his best game at all. Was nice to see him get a goal but he's still not where he needs to be.
