Ugh, part of me is starting to think that he likes a free paycheck. I know that isn't the case, but it's hard for me to feel for a guy that acts so coyly to the media when fans want some kind of hint or answer.

15 points and a +8 in 26 games? You wouldn't rather have that in the lineup than out? Project that out over the 65 games and he'd be our #5 scorer at the moment and have the highest +- on the team. Dunno about you but I'd rather have that on the second line than anything else I see on the roster at the moment.

In 05-06, Havlat played 18 regular season games, returning on April 15th from an injury. He then scored 7 goals, 6 assists in 10 games in the playoffs.

Just throwing some optimism in the heap.

Havlat isn't bad. He started the season injured, came back and got hot, cooled off considerably, got his groove back and then the freak injury. He will make the top-6 much better when he gets back.

Havlat update: GM Doug Wilson said #sjsharks forward could be playing within the next week. Team is 16-7-3 with rehabbing Havlat in lineup.

Hope they arent rushing him to get the offense going.
