Bud Halloway

So what happens with this guy, pretty much won't come back till he gets a 1 Way contract.

But their is ZERO roster spots to just hand him. Bud has to earn a spot.

I am also sure Lombardi is not happy with how Bud left.

Trade him for a pick in this year's draft...maybe to a team like Columbus who can use like EVERY position and player?

difficult to say at this point i think. something that has crossed my mind though recently was this. did he possibly see/think/hear the possibility of D King moving up the ranks past him? did he possibly foresee LA having a possible logjam down the left side of Brown, Penner, Gagne, King and Clifford?

for all of us we are on the outside of the inner workings we won't know and this is entirely speculation, but perhaps Bud saw something along these lines a year ago and knew he was so far down the list he didn't have a chance in LA. so leave and go play elsewhere for himself and the money, while hoping to catch another teams attention

I think he is only worth a 6th or 7th right now. He's not even signed to an NHL contract.

Sad part is he would of had a very good chance to make the team last season. Oh well. We won the cup. Him leaving might have helped us do that so... Thanks Bud!
