Injuries in KHL?

I was doing some research on concussions tonight, and I came across the thought of if the injuries we are seeing today in the new NHL similar to those in the KHL? With major losses due to concussion, I am wondering if the KHL also sees the same affects to their players?

Considering there is far less emphasis on hitting and physical play in the KHL, I don't think it's a valid comparison.

Checking into AHL concussion stats might be more fruitful.

Pretty much any Pro hockey league. Doesn't matter how fast, how slow the league is. Just as long as it is in the same age group.

I'd rather ask in the KHL boards for that...

I don't think this totally accurate

This thread here talks about how there are 5x as many concussions in a Swedish league and they need to do something about it a new helmet is there idea. I imagine there level/style of play is not far off the KHL. I think also there are alot more diagnosed concussions then ever in the NHL, its not that they were or are not happening its just that they are not reported, so having said that I imagine the KHL wont have the same high standards the NHL has when it comes to treatment/diagnosis.
