That goal was all Lubo. He was Pathetic on the powerplay as well.

You can expect him to play fundamental defense. He was in no man's land. A 2-on-1 and he doesn't cover the shooter or the pass(he should have covered the pass). Then, on top of that, he took his stick out of the passing lane. He might as well not have been there at all.

Hagman's presence should have encouraged Lubo to cover the pass that much more aggressively. I really don't know what Lubo was trying to do there.

Oh well. It's only one goal. The Ducks can, hopefully, get it back.

Whew. Got lucky. Replay showed the player just kind of hit Hiller.

I agree with you and Engblomb. He did play it poorly, but someone else played it worse. That's all I'm saying. No one said a peep about the guy who was 10 miles out of place, just the guy who got stuck in the heat of the moment, and couldn't handle it. Sort of the same way you absolve the goalie on breakaways, even if he doesn't make the right save. It was a general statement is all.

I had forgotten how godawful boring Dallas is to watch. Defense shell and wait for the counterattack. I don't care how effective it is I can't stand watching it.

Pathetic play by Beauchemin. So pathetic for one of the "leaders" to make that play when the team needs this game. Unacceptable.

Lubo has been awful as well. Youth hockey players know not to play a 2 on 1 like that. Two terrible plays by our supposed to be 2 top defenseman.

And with the fact that it is pretty effective, it won`t allow them to get a top notch star in the draft to, which would attract fans to like the team.

Then again we face the fact that their team is called Dallas Sta... ok, i already got bored.

Ok on the game - despite the fact that it was 3 on 2(?) looked like Lubo could prevent us from trailing, but i really didn`t saw the entire replay as i just turned on stream at the end of the replay. No wonder we sucked on PP - Dallas have one of the top PK units lately and we weren`t to good either.

Overall - we look lost. Their defnsive schemes is looking to be just to hard to handle for us.

I don't care If Lubo was left out to dry. That happens on occasion and while he can't prevent every one of those chances. You play the shooter or the pass, and you dont turn your body around.

By "he" I meant Visnovsky. I brought up Hagman because someone said Vis was all alone.

Ya, he's been good, but he has some real big ass brain farts. The other night(Phoenix) he thought he could beat a forward back from the blue line skating backwards at an even start on the PP. To me that's wayy dumber than Lubo freezing up on a 2-1. Whatever, call em as ya see em folks.

It doesn't change the fact that the slash was stupid, a dumb play after a bad play by Beau.

Yeah it was bad by Lubo. I think he was trying to cover Hiller.

Just look at the minutes Beauch plays. And look when and how he plays.

Franky is one of the last in the list of players we should judge.

ok, I just rewound it. Ribiero would have skated past Lubo if he didn't turn around. It's that simple. He started playing it exactly as you, I and the experts would dictate, but they had too much speed, and passed it at the right moment. If ya want to keep arguing go ahead, but at least look at it again first. If he continued skating backward, he was toast just like french Frankie was in Phoenix.

I wasn't trying to argue. Just elaborate on how Hagman's presence should have helped Visnovsky make the right decision. As opposed to, well, what he ended up doing. That would be a good replay on how not to play a 2-on-1.
