Well, looks like I get to play Guerzy first round.
I can't help but think that I'll end up having some bad luck and I'll lose to the guy who tried to deplete his roster in order to tank. =P

Another loss in the record book against one of the only (there was one other) teams that could beat me this week.
Awesome.

To be honest with everyone, though, I did not tank. I traded off assets, but I then picked up what I felt were the best quality assets or replacements on free agency. Burmistrov was hot, Ponikarovsky was hot, Ekman-Larsson is pretty good himself, I figured Slater would come through for us a bit here down the stretch, and when the Sens acquired the top goaltender in the AHL, Ben Bishop, I picked him up, etc. And even after the trade deadline when I sold off assets to protect or help myself this offseason, I still had the itch to win. Last but not least, most of my top draft picks are from other teams in which I acquired.
That is the truth.

The Playoffs have begun!
After the first nights games, I am up on JB 21-10.95. Upset?
... hey, even if this only lasts for a night, i'll take it.
Wow, what a night for Hank's Oglethorpes! Up 30.35 - 0.5 on Voyageurs.

69 games left for me.
72 games left for you.
Just like I predicted last week, I'm probably going to be in trouble. For whatever reason, my team has been horrible lately.

Usually my quick fix waiver acquisitions lose me points, but Kyle Palmieri was a beast last night.
Still not a safe lead by any stretch, cheswick has Crosby.

I had a claim on him too, but Juzmo had ONE waiver priority ahead of me.

Yeah, luckily got him. A risk, but had to drop Johnson anyway. Actually was a bit surprised that he had been so cold for such a long time... should have dropped him weeks ago with his back problems and such.

105.55 - 92.80 between JB and I.
If I pull off this upset and knock out the 1st place team, wow. Still have a feeling it's not gunna happen though.

I mean I could say "that's what you get for having *** *** on your team", but I think it wouldn't appropriate
But yeah, last night was pretty good.

A small suggestion for next year would be to have a 6-12 bracket as well where those teams play for placement in the year-end standings (giving owners whose teams aren't in the top 6 at least a little excitement to play out the string while the NHL regular season winds up)....

My players picked the BEST week to get injured.
Franzen, Howard and Vrbata all get hurt.
