Holy Injured List, Batman!

Enjoy the Foligno show, though! I saw him in Junior and he was a man against boys (in a GOOD way). I hope he does well!

Haha so that kind of lends itself to my point, it looks like he's loading up on one line to lean on them heavily.

Roy's played well in his hometown the last couple years. Ruff's probably hoping that continues and that line can pop in a couple goals.

They just need to play a boring road game. Keep it low-scoring and take advantage of the opportunities that Ottawa's defense corps will inevitably surrender.

"[Nick] was pretty pumped. He was texting me all day yesterday to see if I was getting called up," Marcus Foligno said. "He was giving me advice. He's been doing that all year. He's excited and told me to prepare myself."

The trash talking started a little too. Nick said "he's ugly" when asked about Marcus and Marcus responded with "I got the better looks in the family" and "definitely family members like me more."

Through all the laughs, there is deeper meaning to the game. Mike Foligno's wife and the brothers' mother, Janis, died of breast cancer in 2009.

"We think it's probably the best Christmas present we ever got," Nick said of the brothers matchup. "We feel like my Mom probably had a little something to do with that. It's pretty special."

I guess this means McNabb will get some PP time? Excited to see what he could do there.

I suppose if you keep throwing Miller at the wall he'll stick eventually.

I'm not, if there is a puck that is being contested, he will likely lose the race, the guy is so damn slow. He's not much better than Gragnani at this point, only + is that he plays physical.

With the shortage of quality forwards, Ehrhoff, Leopold, Sekera will definitely have PP time, but McNabb's got the vision and smarts to make plays once a unit is set up. I do wonder if they go with a four-forward setup on one unit and the two-D on the other.

I cracked up when Marcus talked about having the reach advantage over Nick if they dropped the mitts on the interview clip on WGR.

Been waiting for a while to see Marcus. He's got the energy and size to be a disrupter, and hopefully it's contagious.

Foligno - Goose - Kassian - Weber - McNabb, on the ice at one time? I DARE Ottawa to run Miller tonight!

That line sounds sick!

Just my bad luck that I have exam tomorrow morning so can't watch the game

I like the idea of Adam/Stafford together as wingers.

Getting excited for this game now. I think it's partially because I've been doing predictive modeling all day. That makes anything else exciting.

Strong, strong glimpse of the future tonight.

How I see it tonight ...

Partially developed AHL talent/mostly underperforming NHL talent vs. the Ottawa Senators

4-2 Senators

As nice as it might be to see all these AHLers play, I'd prefer seeing them all in Rochester kicking A**

Anyone else seeing all Harrington's complaints on twitter?

I really hate that POS especially after meeting him at the Buffalo Bisons. He is an idiot

I know it was a case of going back to an older formula but, for the one game where Ruff put Pominville back at the point with Ehrhoff on the 1st unit against the Panthers, the PP looked better.

Like was the case whenever Connolly played the point, too many teams have scouted Gragnani enough to know he'll pass 99% of the time and doesn't have a shot to worry about blocking. When everyone is healthy, Ruff should just stick with Ehrhoff, Myers, Leopold and Pominville as his top 4 PP point men.

When I saw Foligno getting the recall, it made me curious if Ruff may reunite the "kid line" that showed such great chemistry in the Traverse City tournament: Adam between Kassian and Foligno.

No keep Pominville off the point. I was never a fan of him there plus keep him down low so Vanek has someone to setup. Thankfully Pominville isn't using his slap shot all the time anymore because his slapper is trash.
