Noel seems to love that line so I expect they'll get a lot more icetime than our previous fourth lines have had. We'll likely see Stapleton a lot less.
This is what I think too:
Kane - Little - Wheeler
Ladd - Antro - Wellwood
Mittens - Burmi - Fehr
Glass - Slater - Thor

Then you make up Glass and Slater's minutes on the PK and everybody's happy no?

Looks good to me

Aren't Fehr and Miettinen both playing their off wing in that lineup? I wonder why Noel wouldn't switch their spots.

Miettinen has been confirmed with Glass and Slater. Fehr is not a 4th liner. I wish they'd send him to the AHL if he's not in shape

I'd rather have Burmi and Slater playing bigger minutes but right now if everyone is healthy I think we'd see something similar to what you posted, maybe with Fehr on the second line and a third of Burmi - Wellwood - Miettinen. I'd hope that if Burmi is going to be on the third line that he'd at least be on the top PK unit and perhaps the second PP.

Miettinen is a RW AFAIK.

This is Kane's favorite team to play against. I predict Mason and his new pads will be in goal tonight. We should win

Hammer Slammer, in my 3-4 years on this board, this is the most legible, beautiful, concise GDT starting post I have ever seen.

Awesome!

So pumped. Hopping on the plane home for Xmas in a couple hours. My first Jets 2.0 game tonight. Likely be a lot of us locationally challenged Winnipeggers-at-heart seeing our first games over the next 2 weeks.

My hopes are we get 4 wins in our next 6 games and close out December 4 games above .500!! If we can get there then we have exceeded my expectations on this most crucial home stand and we will be 19-15-4 and right in the thick of it.

obviously we need to win a game like tonight’s at home if we want to close out December with a bang. My hopes are that some home cooking and a practice will help our team chemistry and we will play a solid game tonight.

And to all those expat's that are returning home for the holidays.....may you score a ticket so you can experience the game day vibe!! Bring an attitude and be ready to cheer the boys on!!

GO JETS GO!!

Why is that a bad thing, Thorburn has been okay this year, yeah I get that he does the little things but that is so overrated when he is getting decent minutes and can't score if his life depended on it, takes way to many dumb penalties a lot of which are in the offensive zone, worst +/- on the team at -11, and is sometimes heavily out matched by large talented forwards.

Sorry guys just don't get the Thorburn love when they could be grooming a younger guy for the "role" who may chip in 10-15 goals a year.

Isles fan coming in peace...

Been keeping an eye on this team whenever I had the chance to, and I gotta say, I love watching your team. Very exciting to watch, your fan base is crazy, and I think Noel is doing a fantastic job with this squad.

I must add that I'm very jealous, considering there has been nothing exciting for us Isles fans to cheer for lately

But I wish you guys the best of luck. Here's to a great game

I'm a Jets fan first, but a big fan of the Isles too. I just want to send a big GO JETS GO out to the fans in Winnipeg, and also, a GO YOTES GO in their game against Florida tonight, would love to see WPG gain ground on tops in the Southeast.

What 4th line RW is potting 10-15 goals? That's extremely unrealistic.

The Jets will have to stay focused on the Isles; if the Jets can dictate the play a win should be probable tonight.

Each game against an Eastern foe is important and the Jets need to win those games in regulation - losing a game against Eastern teams is bad, and almost as bad is giving up the single point for OT or shoot-outs. At this point the Jets are fighting it out for a post-season berth, and the reality is that this may well continue for the balance of the season; they're in tough in the division, let alone the conference, and those single points may be costly at the end of the year.

And wait, what's this??? Blake Wheeler is third in team scoring, with a +9??? I think he's very, very close to breaking out of his goal-scoring drought - the Isles would be a good opponent for a hat-trick.

It's the Jets' first game in a long time with all top 6 D-men, so I predict a 6-2 Jets win, with Wheeler getting four points, and being selected as the game's first star.
Normally Darth, I would agree with you. However, I think the win on Saturday left a LOT to be desired, and after that disappointing loss to the Caps I think the team will (at least should) be very motivated tonight.

At any rate, it's my first time going to a Jets 2.0 game tonight! I am so stoked I am vibrating at work today! Hoping for a good effort and a dub-ya!

Chris had a pretty solid 9 goal, 10 assist season last year with the Thrashers, guess I was expected more of him this year.

He also had nearly 14 minutes a game last year. With 10 minutes a night, he's not going to put up those kind of numbers.

He's -11 with 2A in 32 games, 10 minutes TOI/A. He's thus far escaped the wrath of the fanbase due to his grit and the role he plays. Any other player would be scathed. But really, he's not deserving of any more ice-time.

I managed to snag 6th row tix in 105 right behind the penalty boxes. All pumped up, first time in the lower bowl. I missed out on seats right on the glass beside Chris Mason. Missed it by that much.
