so...katie reporting ov skating with halpern and brouwer and laich and brouwer. no mention of backstrom or johansson....and the thunder rolls....hmm mmm mmm...the thunder rolls.
Dale is changing up the lines to mask what he wants to do, me thinks. If Ovi is back at LW telling himself on every rush, don't do my move, don't do my move, I am going to be pissed.
He has to be lining up at RW, but can score from anywhere anytime. The bet was open, you backed away. 66% chance of winning not enough I suppose.
What are the odds he scores in a game at his peak, barely over 50%. Nowadays, odds are he scores from anywhere including ENG, he only has about a 33% chance.
You obviously wanted even better odds than 66%, assuming you wanted him to score to score from within a specific area. It was about his mindset, not having to tell himself, don't do my move; not scoring while standing in a Tex Designated Dot.
I was willing to give out even odds, but no one bit.
Sweet mother of science! Please, please, please just win. Any which way. I don't care whether GWG is from manos suaves or purruttu or noobs or mojo or baby dino or whoever else, just please, hockey gods, please let it be a Cap who scores it.
I am glad Dale didnt sit Neuvy over what had to be one of the flukiest goals I have ever seen. Gotta give Nuevy a break on the one engrossed in the scotoma.
Interesting line combinations. Nice to see Beagle back and we get a good chance to see Majo on the wing. I expect this will be a tight game. All I ask is they put in effort and of course win. We can't be wasting points.

I was thinking 2-1 but this might be closer. Looks like Neuvirth will have to pitch a shutout. No soft goals tonight please. Get that sparkling .890 save % up.
To beat super defensive structured team like Nashville we would need to work extra hard, have cohesiveness, passion and desire to ****ing win (the exact things that we lack right now)... they won 5 straight (beat Detroit and St. Louis in last 2). Not looking too good for our boys...
Hopefully we can get some luck (and goaltending) and keep hanging with them in 0-0 or 1-1 type of exiting games we've been producing recently and than crap out SO win!
Yey Caps!!!
I think Colorado game put me in depression or something...
caps have got to push the pace tonight and wear down nashvilles top pairing of weber and suter..obviously thats tough to do but if Majo and Backs are playing with ovi, they should be able to dump the puck behind the goal line and put pressure on those d-men to move the puck, hopefully causing turnovers...althoght neuvy playing well in his last 4 starts at over a .920 Save percentage..
Linejuggling? What's next? Ice cream and profanity?
Did you want Dale to keep the lines the same all season long? They've been struggling to produce offense, of course the lines are going to get changed.

i think you should look again. i asked a question. does scoring off the left wing and on the power play count as scoring from the rw? i didnt get an answer
Don't suck, score more than 1 goal, don't roll over at the first sign of adversity....
Too much to ask?

Here comes either a lights out performance, or an absolute stinker. The big question is if the offense can put up a couple of goals early and give the goalie a little confidence that 1 goal isn't going to cause the team to feel sorry for itself and fall apart.
