Good. I like Boyce. I wish Dupuis was scratched constantly and Rosehill/Orr put in the lineup.

I see the smart management move was made to bring up a two way player with grit to replace an ostensibly gritty Armstrong. Nice also to see our prospect forwards getting more time to develop in the development league.

two way player??

he has 10 points in 22 games in the AHL...

he was brought up for his grit and d game only.

I have a hard time believing Kadri was the answer to what ailed the Leafs in the 2nd period last night. Maybe he could have scored in the Shootout, but that's a crapshoot anyway.

all two goals by the kings were LUCKY AS HELL and kadri wouldn't have done anything for that.

Not to mention reimer also got bulldozed several times too

It's embarassing, to be honest.
Kadri will be called up just be patient... Why disturb a guy who has found a groove and is developing nicely in the minors, playing top line minutes.

Boyce is a better fit for the 4th line

Boyce is a good fore-checker and strong on the boards. The Leafs could use some time in the offensive zone. You know, the other way.

he and crabb are the same player's, i doubt he was brought to to produce offensively with our 4th line.. it would be lovely tho

yeah, that is pretty silly of you.
Crabb plays anywhere from 4th line minutes to second line depending on the game. Kadri's end goal is to be more than that.

Crabb has been playing on our 2nd line with Connolly and MacArthur.

We need Brown back. Just as much as any player on this Roster. i know it will take a bit before he gets back to form; but we need the speed/grit combined into one.

Wasn't that our third line last night?

I hear what you are saying Zeke but I don't see Kadri as a Burke guy. As much as I like him I see him traded by the end of the year.

Doesn't really make sense because Crabb has been playing about 5 minutes less per game than MacArthur and about 8 minutes less than Connolly over the last 5 games.

Maybe Kadri keeps getting bypassed because of his poor conditioning that Eakins mentioned yesterday on Fan590. I wonder if he came into camp in less than great shape and that's where the worm turned? Odd that Eakins would gush about his offensive prowess but then say he needs to be in better shape, get stronger. Part of the puzzle for sure....

I think aside from that we still want him to get the best out of him, i mean we are finally putting him in the center area which is great as that's our greatest weakness for the first line...and I mean top line center spot.

I love him at center, hope they keep him there.

that's because Crabb doesn't play on the PP.

They have to give some reason for him being down there. easy to list those things because as fans we can't really measure it. The kid has done everything asked of him. When Eakins said he was worse off when he came back down to when he started working for him is where I lost respect for Dallas. That is simply not true. He could have said 'We have different plans for Naz'...keep the fans wondering and not spread any BS.

well since Connolly scores more than Grabo, and Mac scores more than Kuly, and Crabb scores more than Fratts, I'd call that our 2nd line.
