I say we trade Koivu, Ribs, Kostitsyn, and Ryder for Federov. Then we can have a trio of good looks, with Theo, souray, and Federov!!

That's the first reasonable thing you've said in months Tuggy my pal. But still, I don't think you go far enough. Now, say we sign Kovalev, then we could quickly throw him and a third round pick in the mix for Turek...

You know guys if we came together we could form a braintrust that would dethrone Gainey and company. We could mold this team into something special and a create a new dynasty!

dammm, am I dreaming or what. you must be related to Rejean Houle to be coming up with trades like that

did I read right "a Gretzky like god with 70 pts season"
a 70 pts season has nothing to do with being a god and it's far from a Gretzky standard.

Chicpea, love the avatar. I remember that story when I was in grade 3. His habs jersey was totally worn out, and I can't remember if Eatons was out of MOntreal jerseys, or his mom just didn't know any better, but she got him the leafs one. I don't remember a wholle lot more about it, but I think all the kids wouldn't let him play with them because of the jersey, and when he went home he prayed for a bunhc of moths to come and eat the kersey on him.
Classic!!!!

Well if the building of a dynasty is going to be done correctly, Juha Lind & Johan Whitehall (sp?) must be brought back no matter what the cost !!!

The name of this topic just gave me an idea...

"Proposal:Trade Saku,Theo,Souray,Komi+prosp."

Except change it to say "Trade Saku, Theo, Souray and Komi for Prospal."

Once again, Bulletproof!

I sentence you to five months of reading every thread fully and making sure you understand the rammifications and intentions of each and every thread before posting a reply. Failure to do so will result in harsh criticism by equally half-hearted thread readers!

Primeau is a good player and would add size and strenght down the middle but is not what we need right now. Still gives too many centers. Even keeping Bonk as the number #3 center is a considerable waste of talent.

I can't see Theodore being dealt.

No problem it could happen to anybody.

I think Theodore is one of the most underrated goalies in the league. Gainey will not move him

I imagine it goes something like this:

Not to pick on any one poster, but for example, picture Gingerly sitting at his computer at work (or wherever) and begins reading this (tritone's original):

Just a thought : Koivu and Theo to Philly for Primeau
Komi + Souray prospect and to Calgary for Kipper

So here's my logic behind this proposal

Koivu is no longer needed here because we have Ribeiro a superstar Gretzky-like god
.....

Well, the mind goes numb, outrage fills the air, he can't believe somebody would be so stupid to post something like this without thinking and starts to type and type and type....

and never the twain shall meet.

Hey thanks aphotic. Yours has always been one of my faves too as it sums up my life these days! But ya, mine's from the movie The Sweater based on Roch Carrier's story of the same name (or maybe the Hockey Sweater?).

The funniest part is even with all the proof right here in this thread...55% of posters in my poll claim to read and understand the whole thread before posting a reply...LOL

Tritone, honestly give it a rest man and stop talking about your little study on human behaviour around the habs forum!
