Hard for me to tell. At the beginning, we looked like a team that needed some time to gel but really showed some signs of being a very good team.

Then the injury epidemic hit, so I have no idea where the Sabres are as a mostly healthy team.

Haha what a joke this franchise is, absolutely zero accountability on this team.
Nobody is forcing you to watch the games or follow the team, you know where the door is.

When do you ever see a new owner come in and endorse a coach and or gm like Pegula and Black have? Let alone 2-3 other times?

I dont turn games off, i dont leave games early, in fact I drive an hour and a half one way to watch them. Every. Single. Home. Game.

So sorry if Im sick Of hearing people back Darcy and Lindy. Its obvious Lindy can't get these guys to play. He hasn't gotten multiple 60 minute games out of this team in a week period in oh probaby 5 years.

The injury excuse can only go so far. Woopty doo. Were mossing guys who have been garbage all year long and the Pens were missing Crosby and their entire defense. Im sick of the excuses.

Is this goal of getting a cup in 3 years based on Lindy being here? Is this HIS time to get a cup, or is it Pegulas own goal?

Thats what I want to know...
What coach has done that? No coach that I am aware of gets 60 minutes of hockey, without fail, for 1 year, let alone for 5 years.

When any team plays with as many injuries as we have and had, yes injuries will continue to be a factor. A big factor. Now if we only had 1 or 2 injuries, the injury excuse is, well, inexcusable.

Some people just have this idealistic idea of a coach where the team is going to give 110% night in and night out, every minute of the game, and execute to perfection every single night under that coach. Grass is always greener on the other side.

Um dude. I was talking about how the Sabres don't play multiple 60 minute games in a week. Nowhere near is that like saying I expect them to play 60 minute games every time they hit the ice.

Injuries are a cover up. Itd be 1 thing if we lost Vanek, Regehr, Pominville... You know guys who are performing.

The way some people love Lindy, you'd think that coach was him.

I dont expect perfection. Maybe i just expect players and coaches to have accountability once in a while when a team is playing god awful hockey.

I think most people recognize that something is not right with this team and Ruff could certainly be part of that equation.

I hear what you're saying, but execution is the players' responsibility.

So judging by that... No coach should ever get fired.

And also another effort where I wonder what the **** Paul Gaustad does to justify getting a $2.5 mil salary. And also, way to go buffalo management. Way to identify a fourth line grinder center who has scored a whopping 7 points as a key leader who will be a major part of the team's success. YAY CORE YOU GUYS ARE TOO GOOD TO EVER LET GO OF! LET'S KEEP ALL OF YOU HERE IN BUFFALO FOREVER!

"Panic doesn't seem to help."

That's an Art Rooney saying that was repeated by Mr. Pegula during his awesome acceptance speech. And I think that he knew things would get bad before they got better, even then. But he still did everything possible, on and off the ice, to put the team in the best possible position to succeed. If the Sabres are guilty of any wrong doing this past summer, it's from trying too hard.

This team has so much scoring depth and defensive depth that it could ride out this massive surge of injuries with a winning record. But the performance and attention to detail has been lacking, more so from the veterans than the rookies. And that to me, is very disappointing. Not the coaches fault so much as it is the veteran players fault, because the truth is, the team is too banged up for Lindy Ruff to bench a Stafford or a Gaustad. It's up to them to get their head on a swivel and rise up to the challenge and show some God damn leadership for those young guys to rally behind!

Even know, with these injuries, this team is better than this. They just are.

TSNs McKenzie said that Pegula regrets saying bad things about the goaltending the other night and that it was taken out of context.

From what I saw, he just said he wishes he could take it back, not so much that it was taken out of context.

Makes me a little sad, don't soften on your stance Mr. P.
