Anyone Want To Guess What Our Playoff Call-Up List Looks Like?

Playoffs are fun for the obvious reason, but the second exciting part is that the Senators are more then free to call-up as many players as they want to participate in practices, preperation, and understanding the playoff attitudes. Extended playoff runs use these guys, and we can just hope to have an extended run. In 2010, our call-up list was weak with the complete lack of prospects.

Anyone want to guess the callups? Only conditions re that their playoffs are done and they are contracted to the Senators

Need to think that Noesen,Puempel, JGP(if signed), Prince(if signed), and Stone would have to comeover after playoffs inorder to give some extra bodies incase we are decimated by injury

Knew I was forgetting someone (Da Costa). I limited myself to posting the first call-ups, I'd be shocked if we had to recall more than 3 forwards, 2 defencemen, or 2 goalies.

Da Costa, Petersson, Saabman, Klinkhammer (assuming he is not already on the team)
Patty W, BoroCop
(Release the) Lehner

All of this is assuming Bingo does not make the playoffs of course (ya never know)

Is there a limit on how many call-ups you can have for the playoffs?

Is there a limit to how many guys they can callup or have as Black Aces? I don't think the Swedes will make it over for the playoffs.

Black Aces:
Forwards - Stone, Hoffman, DD, Da Costa, Petersson, Parrish & Klinkhammer
Defence - Boroweicki, Wiercioch, Gryba & NCAA signees, maybe Blood & Wideman too
Goal - Bishop & Lehner

The fact that they probably have to put them up in a hotel and fly them on the charters during the playoffs, I wouldn't expect more than 3 or 4 players to be called up.

Da Costa and Boroweicki should be at the top of any list. basically I see this as our roster for the playoffs:

Greening-Spezza-Michalek
Klinkhammer/Butler-Turris-Alfie
Foligno-O'Brien-Neil
Daugavins-Smith-Condra
Hoffman-Da Costa-Konopka
Petersson

IR: Regin, Winchester

Kuba-Karlsson
Phillips-Gilroy
Cowen-Gonchar
Carkner-Boroweicki

Anderson
Lehner
Bishop
Auld

If healthy, Winchester should come in for Daugavins or Condra, and Bishop will be our starter if he can put together a strong record.

Klinkhammer I think can play, and Butler should sit.

For most of the Bingo guys to earn a call up I think they should be performing a lot better in Bingo. I realise the NHL is different but if you can't get the job done in the A then I don't see how you can be trusted to get the job done in the N.

Lehner obviously, McKenna isn't needed since that'll put us at 4 goalies.

Borowiecki, Weircioch, Gryba on D

Da Costa, Hoffman, Petersson for sure, I think Zibanejad might be brought over, I could see a chippy guy like Dziurzynski, or vets like Locke or Parrish getting invited to come up as well.

There are some players that do very well in the ahl and get called up and have a hard time in the nhl while there are some that don't do well in the ahl but are good nhl players.

If decimated maybe... No way we bring up these kids to play in a deep playoff run against physical teams or else THEY'd be decimated.
