Here's to hoping this is the last call up of Kadri's career (other then conditioning stints).

Did I read correctly that Steckel was also practicing?

Does that mean that we're actually going to play a game without even ONE of Dupuis, Rosie, or Orr in the lineup?

UNBELIEVABLE!

It's neither up to you nor I to make such a decision. Wilson decided to dress those players in red jerseys for practice, indicating that they are on the third line. There's nothing to debate. Obviously stats say otherwise, although I'm curious to know how many of Mac's current points were awarded while playing with Grabo. That's your assignment for the afternoon. I mean, since you're obviously not busy with anything else.

Whatever the reason is for calling him up. Filling a spot, showcasing him for a trade. I like the player, I think he has great mitts and will make a really good NHL'er one day if not for the Leafs than someone else. I hope he plays and plays well-I think he deserves the opportunity.

Frattin - Grabovski - Mac (Frattin plays a similar game to Kuly but with a little more speed, would be interesting to see if he can get chemistry with these guys)
Is Frattin really faster than Kulemin (winner of last year's fastest skater competition)?

er, you know lines aren't colour coded, right?

wearing the same colour jersey just means they're on the same line.

Well, I can tell you what I do expect. Neutral zone turnovers. We should have the U-turn symbol imprinted on his visor as a reminder.

Kadri/Connolly together is something to be excited about, I think we'll see some sick stuff between the two of them.

Does it really make a difference which line number he is assigned?

Wilson changes the lines once almost every game.

He'll fit right in then

I'll take a neutral zone turnover instead of the defensive zone giveaways we do so well

Zeke. It doesn't matter. As long as he gets some playing time.

It mattered to the guy who made the post I responded to.

I was just clarifying the issue.

Hopefully he takes pressure off Kessel and Lupol.

Good thing the rest of the team never turns the puck over, then.

I think it will be fun to watch. I had no intention of watching the next game but now I will be glued to see how they play together.

Sometimes several times per period.

Lupul-Bozak-Kessel
Kadri-Connolly-MacArthur
Frattin-Grabovski-Kulemin
Boyce-Steckel-Crabb

Connolly has unreal skill, and is always looking for the pass. I hope Naz can feed off this.

I fear if he doesn't stick this time, it's not going to be good for him staying a Leaf. This is probably his most important stint, not saying it is make it or break it, but you don't want to be known as Filatov 2.0. I believe in Nazem's talent and determination, I believe he is a top 6 NHL talent.

you need to look at ice time zeke, not points.

I have this feeling that Kadri will be looking at this call-up differently than others before.

I know he's got skill so I'll be watching his backchecking and poise more than anything

It'll be a welcome change from the defensive zone turnovers we see.
