I sure hope he is stronger on the puck, cleaned up his turnovers and realized that junior dekes rarely work on NHL defense-men

Actually, coloured jerseys very much do indicate the depth order of the lines, along with the obvious- which players are planned to play together. You should know this by now, Zeke. Maybe stats should be second priority henceforth?

Yeah I have faith in the guy, he has the talent, and now (hopefully) the opportunity. If he can put those two together and grasp what is laid before him I think we might have another offensive weapon in our arsenal.

We focus too much on depth charts anyway. By the end of the game, the most effective lines end up with the most ice-time.

I wouldn't count on him sticking, they called up Boyce ahead of him and we should be getting some players back shortly. Seems like a fill-in situation above all else right now.

Ok, point me to the rulebook which says "Red Jerseys = Third line".

Hahahaha happy festivus Daveleaf...dynrehab always likes to try and start something and then claims that someone else started it.....not biting rehab. As for the callups....OMG, how will the Leafs ever be able to compete without Phillip "as useless as they come" Dupuis and Colby "Do you know what the Leafs record without him in the lineup is" Armstrong? I mean between the two of them, they have one assist this year. Oh my, Leafs are in dire straits.

Then at worst he will fit in with the rest of the Leafs, because it's a prerequisite if you are going to play Wilson's system.

Wow, it's pretty obvious you've never played competitive hockey before.

I guess that's why they have this board though. For people to think their opinions matter. I guess that's all that counts.

How are those requested stats coming along?

The most effective players usually. Wilson has never been afraid to change up the lines.

If Kadri plays like we know he can (one of our best forwards), he will get awarded the icetime.

I hope Dupuis is out for a while, so he gets a good look. I actually think eventually you'll see Kadri with Frattin and Bozak, which I've wanted to see.

Why did you ask me for ice time if you were just going to ignore it?

Its not disturbing that fans are anxious to see the number one prospect in the organization..the highest draft pick...a kid with obvious skill. Its disturbing at how fans idolize and over-rate absolute stiffs like Dupuis, Steckel, Orr, Rosehill, Dupuis, Brown, Armstrong etc.....I mean there is a place for one or two of these guys but not half a teams roster worth.

I don't think people want him to fail. I think there are a difference between people who want him to have a giftwrapped chance and others who believe that once the game starts, he will dictate his own ice-time based on his play. He will be playing with talent and he will also have to show he can BE the talent on a line.

I have always wanted him to succeed although I didn't always agree that he should be up sooner than now. Since his player of the month, I figured he would be up at the next opportunity and that is exactly what happened. I didn't think it would happen until January but I am glad it is happening sooner rather than later.

I don't know why you guys are arguing line numbers.

This team has no 2nd or 3rd line, heck sometimes the first line isn't even the first line.

The Leafs have rolled 3 lines pretty evenly for close to 2 years now. Some nights one line will get more then the other if they are red hot.

It's like arguing who's dad is stronger right now.

hahaha.......Dupuis is such a waste and Armstrong is the new injury prone player.

Dyn likes to nip at our butts but I am sure he's an alright guy, beer makes everything better.......even the Leafs!!

The only way this will be bad is if Wilson:
a) puts him on the 3rd or 4th line
b) gives him top 6 minutes for 4 shifts then moves him down to the 3rd or 4th line

I'd like to see him get a solid chance for 10+ games with top 6 minutes and PP time.

Lol, wasnt Connolly the guy Kadri absolutely undressed when we had that big win over Buffallo last year?

Wonder what Timmy C said to Kadri when they met in the locker room
