Forget the lines, WTF is this? "The Kings are on the ice this morning with new coach Darryl Sutter, and still with assistant coaches John Stevens, Jamie Kompon and Bill Ranford."
I kind of like those lines. The top 2 lines at least have some speed with Richardson and Lewis. I guess DS is going with the Kopitar-Brown chemistry and the Gagner-Richards chemistry for the O. The Penner-Stoll-Williams line has been our best line the last few games. I think the fourth line is just a mish mash of whoever.
Wow, somehow we no longer have a horrible third line
It would be really, really nice if this could jumpstart some offense from Richardson and Lewis. Let's hope they can pull their weight on scoring lines.
I really like these lines since he's spreading the skilll and speed to all of the lines. Man, I hope Kompon gets let go soon, I don't know how he still has a job.
I like it. I always thought Richy and Lewis deserved another chance in the top 6. Both have great speed, although Lewis can't hit the net for his life.
Sutter is obviously injecting and trying to spread the speed.
Better dress Westgarth against the Ducks, they just added Pelley and Parros is back.
I was thinking the same thing. Sutter is trying to utilize speed throughout the lineup, he wants the puck to be moved faster, a quicker forecheck, and better skating through the neutral zone. Should be interesting. All depends on how he utilizes them. I'll turn a blind eye to the lines for a few games as he gets adjusted to things. Good to have him on board. Remember, this is what we all wanted...
I also agree, Westgarth needs to be in the lineup.
Getting Richards back should be huge for it. Hopefully he gives us something to rally around and get going with our comeback.

Yea it's an approach that we haven't had on the top two lines in a while. Speed. last time i can remember that was Simmer/Richie with Kopi for stints two seasons ago..and they looked good for periods of time.
